Fun place, excellent food and value. Long history dating back to Old Chicago. Food was good, nicely presented and moderately priced.
My husband took me here for a romantic lunch on my birthday . This was our first time here and we were greeted by wonderful women who made us feel at home. It is definitely a throwback but it's full of old Italian charm. We were seated at an intimate booth that I really liked because they don't make them... More
Nice local place with very good food--it is a throw back place for sure. Love the piano player. Draw back is--the place is really noise. If you want it quiet, go after 9:00 p.m. Friendly staff and very hard working. The place is crazy busy on a Saturday night.
Our family took us to this restaurant while we were visiting from out of town. A large menu with many great choices of good old Italian food. Of course we had pasta, which was served in huge portions. Service was excellent and the place was packed with folks, so they kept up with the crowd. A nice piano bar which... More
Sabatino's has been in business at the same location seemingly forever. The formula for its success starts with an extensive menu, then adds food that is well prepared and ample and tops it off with reasonable prices and prompt, friendly service. We met four friends for dinner at Sabatino's, and all six of us left happy and well fed. The... More
This was my second visit, and loved it again! Restaurant was packed, however we were seated promptly for our reservation time. Service was attentive and friendly, family-like. Large menu with so many choices. The three of us each ordered our favorites, and stated the best ! Although stuffed, we did share a dessert. They could do with a little more... More
The first time I dined at Sabatino's restaurant was nearly 20 years ago. At that time, my first impression was good. I presently live in Southern Europe. I appreciate having quality food and authentic meals. I'm in town and was in the area so I decided to drop in for a late lunch meal. I had a "special" salad, pasta... More
I've been to Sabatino's a half-dozen times in the last couple of years. I really like this place. It's an old-school Italian place that pinches my cheeks every time I walk in the door. The bartenders are friendly, attentive and quick. The owners are hands-on, front and center proprietors. They welcome guests like they are family and are quick to... More
There is a big surprise at this famous Italian restaurant as they make a fabulous Steak Diane at your table and it is unforgettable. Also a lot of people do not know they make deserts at the table Bananas Foster, Cherries Jubilee and peach melba. The Italian food is superb but try the Steak Diane. Service and the amount of... More
Excellent food, excellent service (our waitress was cocky, funny, and very attentive) all served up in a kitschy, old-school Italian restaurant setting. White italian Christmas lights on the walls, dark overhead lights, and a boisterous overall feeling from the patrons made our meal a pleasure. Be sure to check out the bar, which was large and had several people eating... More
