Description: Welcome to Sabatinos a beautiful old school Italian restaurant with delcious food and great ambieance. You get bread including focaccia - a kind of pizza bread, then a salad and soup, then an entree - try the veal Parmesan, and a side of pasta. Many recommend the baked Alaska dessert. Sabatino"s is dimly lit with flowers on every table, this Italian-American restaurant has been the perfect date restaurant for about 25 years. Diners might have their steak or seafood entrees complemented by the serenade of strolling musicians in the main room or piano music in the bar area. Angelo Pagni, who owns the restaurant with his brother, Enzo, said Sabatino's is popular in the neighborhood for a lot of reasons, food and atmosphere and chief among them. Stop in today!

Classic Italian restaurant that gets five stars for sure. There's real mandolin players that croon you at your dinner table while you drink rosy wines and indulge on classic Italian recipes. An excellent place to take a date or the wifey. Will definitely see sparks in your loved one's eyes as you taste a little piece of Italica Romantica. Will... More

From the loaf of fresh Italian bread plus the plate of bruschetta at the start to the platter of fresh fruit at the end, the welcoming generosity here is a delight. The food in between is always wonderful. I can never pass up the straciatella soup. By the time my entree arrives I am almost full but I usually can... More

Sabatino's never disappoints! Very traditional Italian food, and I am very picky about my Italian food. Their veal saltimbocca is divine. The atmosphere is intimate and the lighting is dim. If you are looking for a modern restaurant, you may be disappointed. But if you love traditional, old-world Italian, this is the place for you!

OMG It has been quite a while since I have been to Sabatino's. I dont live very close to this wonderful restaurant. We decided to go there to dinner before going to see Million Dollar Quartet. That was a great decision. Before my fiance' even returned from hanging up his coat, we had food on the table. They instantly served... More

My husband and I went to Sabatino's the day after Valentine's and the place was packed! But the waitstaff still managed to be prompt and attentive. The food was great and the portions were large. Everything was very moderately priced. The atmosphere is very old-Chicago--to be honest, it could probably be updated but I understand some people really don't like... More

My family went to Sabatino's to celebrate my birthday last night. We were a group of 6. The staff was friendly & efficient. The menu has something for everyone. We started off with an appetizer of stuffed mushrooms. My husband who doesn't like italian food enjoyed a tender, juicy steak. I had a wonderful dish of grilled chicken strips, spinach... More

Recently, my husband and I went to Sabatino's on a Sunday, 5:00 ish. The place has always had a special place in my heart, warm and cozy. Same matrie'd, same atmosphere. The décor is schmaltzy-I love schmaltzy! My husband and I enjoyed the bread and butter, and then they bring a little plate of pizza bread, which was tasty. Then... More

Fun place, excellent food and value. Long history dating back to Old Chicago. Food was good, nicely presented and moderately priced.

My husband took me here for a romantic lunch on my birthday . This was our first time here and we were greeted by wonderful women who made us feel at home. It is definitely a throwback but it's full of old Italian charm. We were seated at an intimate booth that I really liked because they don't make them... More
