Description: Welcome to Sabatinos a beautiful old school Italian restaurant with delcious food and great ambieance. You get bread including focaccia - a kind of pizza bread, then a salad and soup, then an entree - try the veal Parmesan, and a side of pasta. Many recommend the baked Alaska dessert. Sabatino"s is dimly lit with flowers on every table, this Italian-American restaurant has been the perfect date restaurant for about 25 years. Diners might have their steak or seafood entrees complemented by the serenade of strolling musicians in the main room or piano music in the bar area. Angelo Pagni, who owns the restaurant with his brother, Enzo, said Sabatino's is popular in the neighborhood for a lot of reasons, food and atmosphere and chief among them. Stop in today!

If you like being extremely crowded like cattle when dining, and you want to pay $18 for simple angel hair pasta, garlic, oil and mushrooms (could not even taste the garlic), this is the place for you. My husband ordered the "chef's favorite" which was vermicelli with garlic, oil and shrimp and I ordered the same without the shrimp, assuming... More

Our first anniversary & what a surprise, our friends brought us here for dinner. Italian food is our favorite & our dinner was exceptional! Cozy, hospitable atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed and immediately served oven fresh pizza bread along with warm loaf of bread. Delicious bottle of house Chianti. My husband had the fish special and I had a special... More

As you sit down at the table you are greeted by hot pizza bread accompanied by a hot loaf of fresh French bread. your given a menu and the offerings are numerous. Your entrée includes a choice of soup AND salad. The main course is served and it is huge. I have visited dozens of times and can never finish... More

I was invited by a friend to this restaurant about 2 1/2 years ago. I really enjoyed the food & the service was great! Prefect for a couples night out.

We'd driven by this place on the northwest side of Chicago for years and always wondered about it. Last night, good friends of ours, who had discovered Sabatino's, took us there. What a pleasant surprise: excellent food, savvy waitstaff, good service, old-style, excellent Italian food. Interestingly, the day before we went to Sabatino's was our wedding anniversary, and we had... More

I went to this restaurant for a business dinner. We all loved everything we ordered. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was comfortable, and service was great. I will definitely return here if I'm in the Chicago area.

Good food but poor service. We waited 30 minutes for our entree after the salads were brought to the table. We were not asked if we wanted another cocktail. I had to find our server to ask for a refill of water and two of the idle wait staff were discussing their encounters the evening before loud enough to be... More

The last time my husband and I went to Sabatino's was for his two-days-before Christmas birthday two years ago and we took all of our kids and their significant others. I think 10 of us, altogether. Before that, we usually stopped in after a Blackhawks game, because Sabatino's is such a great winter place. My favorite table is the "grotto"... More

My party of 6 all live in a tourist destination town; so when we travel we do not like to feel like tourists. Luckily out wonderful concierge at the Ritz was born in Chicago and when we were craving Italian he sent us to his families favorite neighbor hood restaurant. Walking onto Sabatino's was like stepping back into the Goodfella's... More

Classic Italian restaurant that gets five stars for sure. There's real mandolin players that croon you at your dinner table while you drink rosy wines and indulge on classic Italian recipes. An excellent place to take a date or the wifey. Will definitely see sparks in your loved one's eyes as you taste a little piece of Italica Romantica. Will... More
