Description: Welcome to Sabatinos a beautiful old school Italian restaurant with delcious food and great ambieance. You get bread including focaccia - a kind of pizza bread, then a salad and soup, then an entree - try the veal Parmesan, and a side of pasta. Many recommend the baked Alaska dessert. Sabatino"s is dimly lit with flowers on every table, this Italian-American restaurant has been the perfect date restaurant for about 25 years. Diners might have their steak or seafood entrees complemented by the serenade of strolling musicians in the main room or piano music in the bar area. Angelo Pagni, who owns the restaurant with his brother, Enzo, said Sabatino's is popular in the neighborhood for a lot of reasons, food and atmosphere and chief among them. Stop in today!

We'd driven by this place on the northwest side of Chicago for years and always wondered about it. Last night, good friends of ours, who had discovered Sabatino's, took us there. What a pleasant surprise: excellent food, savvy waitstaff, good service, old-style, excellent Italian food. Interestingly, the day before we went to Sabatino's was our wedding anniversary, and we had... More

I went to this restaurant for a business dinner. We all loved everything we ordered. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was comfortable, and service was great. I will definitely return here if I'm in the Chicago area.

Good food but poor service. We waited 30 minutes for our entree after the salads were brought to the table. We were not asked if we wanted another cocktail. I had to find our server to ask for a refill of water and two of the idle wait staff were discussing their encounters the evening before loud enough to be... More

The last time my husband and I went to Sabatino's was for his two-days-before Christmas birthday two years ago and we took all of our kids and their significant others. I think 10 of us, altogether. Before that, we usually stopped in after a Blackhawks game, because Sabatino's is such a great winter place. My favorite table is the "grotto"... More

My party of 6 all live in a tourist destination town; so when we travel we do not like to feel like tourists. Luckily out wonderful concierge at the Ritz was born in Chicago and when we were craving Italian he sent us to his families favorite neighbor hood restaurant. Walking onto Sabatino's was like stepping back into the Goodfella's... More

Classic Italian restaurant that gets five stars for sure. There's real mandolin players that croon you at your dinner table while you drink rosy wines and indulge on classic Italian recipes. An excellent place to take a date or the wifey. Will definitely see sparks in your loved one's eyes as you taste a little piece of Italica Romantica. Will... More

From the loaf of fresh Italian bread plus the plate of bruschetta at the start to the platter of fresh fruit at the end, the welcoming generosity here is a delight. The food in between is always wonderful. I can never pass up the straciatella soup. By the time my entree arrives I am almost full but I usually can... More

Sabatino's never disappoints! Very traditional Italian food, and I am very picky about my Italian food. Their veal saltimbocca is divine. The atmosphere is intimate and the lighting is dim. If you are looking for a modern restaurant, you may be disappointed. But if you love traditional, old-world Italian, this is the place for you!

OMG It has been quite a while since I have been to Sabatino's. I dont live very close to this wonderful restaurant. We decided to go there to dinner before going to see Million Dollar Quartet. That was a great decision. Before my fiance' even returned from hanging up his coat, we had food on the table. They instantly served... More
