We ordered take out from this place while visiting our family that lives half block from there. It is basically overpriced taco shop food. Greasy, low value ingredients racked up to match the neighborhood and clientele. We ordered corn tortillas and there were fried in grease, simply gross. Flavor was not terrible but I don't think it is a good... More

Warm atmosphere with pleasant service. Excellent choice of tequilas. All the traditional standard Mexican food choices. Free wifi.

I think so. The setting is such. You feel like you are in someone's comfortable home. Right at Southport and Diversey. Good drinks, apps, food. I don't think you can really mess up here, but I did really like the mole sauce, the servings were good portions. The service was good. As the place filled up, it was energetic.

We live in Andersonville, but love Uncle Julios for the food, drinks and atmosphere. We wanted a simple meal on a Saturday night, so first thought Julios. We called ahead asking to be put on the list (a great feature), but was told it was an hour, so we thought of going back to Que Rico (QR) - Great Idea.... More

Beware!!! The waiter initially overcharged - once the bill was corrected, I left a minimal tip. The following day I checked my Credit Card statement and he had added an additional eight dollars to the tip without my knowledge!!!

The service is excellent. The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere and music are great. I can't seem to get enough of it!
