I'm assuming it's the husband and wife owners who are also the waiters. The woman is friendly and pleasant. The man is kind of gruff. My girlfriend asked for water after our uncorked wine was poured, and the man snapped a bit about only being able to do one thing at a time. We were both immediately reminded of the... More

Very good combinations - like my Chicken Pesto which has a sour cherry sauce. Juicy and very flavorful. Very delicious soup was included in the price. Unusually good falafel. Attentive waitress without hovering. Not rushed. Very pleasant atmosphere. BYOB without a corkage fee. Liquor store is across the street.

Unassuming but definitely worth the trip. Mixed appetiser plate was perfect - especially the thing with walnuts, can't remember what it was called - then garlic chicken kebabs, couscous, etc as main courses were all extremely well-judged. Lovely genuine service, great music in the background. No alcohol licence but happy to pour whatever you bring with you.

I had the Lamb Steak, which was quite awesome! Meal came with a salad or soup. I opted for the salad which came with a lemon vinaigrette. Awesome as well. I also had the spinach phylo appetizer which was (guess what?) awesome and slightly spicy. Across the street is a liquor store with tons of beer/wine/liquor options priced reasonably so... More

I'm a regular at Casbah. I've been eating there for at least 10 years now. So when it comes to slow service or overcrowding, I am more lenient than most would be. The food is amazing. The sauces in each dish are mouthwatering and the marinated meats on the grill are extremely tasty. There's nothing on the menu you won't... More

We went to Casbah a few days ago. The owner was very nice and the food was great. Lebanese/Middle Eastern food. The portions are big - the entrees come with a choice of salad or soup - but we finished most if it. So, if you're hungry the portions are well sized. We had the sarma and spinach borek for... More

Go about once per year to this restaurant and it never disappoints. The menu is small but it delivers with great constancy. They don't have a liquor license, so buy a bottle of wine across the street. Always good always friendly.

When I dine at the Casbah I am always delighted by the consistent taste of the food and of course the service. The interior is small, charming and the music selection relaxing. Nick is always welcoming and Nordine the waiter's mood is never changing. Accommodating and pleasant. I have been going for close to 4 years now with friends and... More

Amazing food. Lamb kabobs and the appetizers are the best but chicken and fish also exceptional. Small place so need reservations during the weekend and food takes some to cook.

PLEASE READ (specially towards the end of review!!!!): I have been to Kasbah several times, and it is probably one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants in the area. We arrived early and got the table up by the window, and our server was awesome. She knew the menu and what to recommend, why you should order this and not that... More
