Consistently good! Eggs Benedict delicious!

We have been coming here for 15 years plus! It's consistently good. The crab cake Benedict is always a favorite - the poached eggs always cooked to perfection and the hollandaise has some kick! Of course, the sweet rolls are always a must! We were a little disappointed that the fresh fruit was not... read more

I ate at the Ann Sather on Broadway with my boyfriend. The food was pretty good. The cinnamon rolls were amazing. I had the turkey sausage wrap which was ok. It was very big and very greasy. I ordered a side of salsa with it which only came in a tiny little cup. I also got a side of fruit... More

I usually order a veggie omelette with fruit and, let's face it, the irresistible cinnamon rolls. The Swedish meatballs are good also but I go there for breakfast mostly. Ann Sather's is known for their cinnamon rolls and they are huge. My sister ordered the Swedish sampler breakfast and was quite pleased-and stuffed. Service is always speedy, friendly and drinks... Won't lose weight eating here! The meals are enough for 2 - 3 people who eat normal quantities of food. I ordered the Swedish Meatballs with Spaetzle (spelling??) and Sauer Kraut. The spaetzle was excellent as it had a final sauté in meat grease, as I believe the sauerkraut did as well. Grease makes everything taste good. :-( The 3... More

Ate at the Granville Ann Sather twice during our Chicago visit in July 2015. Delicious! The breakfast meals were great (the only exception would be the Swedish pancakes that my son wanted to try and wish were not great). The cinnamon buns were fantastic! All-in-all a great meal for a reasonable price!

This is usually a great spot for breakfast, but this morning's effort was a little lax. We sat while one (male) waiter thought that the female waiter was attending us. Seeing our confused looks he jumped into the breach and did a good job of attending to our order.

We had a great brunch at Ann Sather. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced for brunch. Nobody was hungry for many hours afterwards. The highlight was definitely the incredible cinnamon buns. They were some of the best we have had. One caution: the 2 cinnamon buns that count as one side order with a meal (many of the... More

Six of us arrived for breakfast and were blown away. We each ordered something different...biscuits & gravy, smoked salmon benedict, steak benedict, crab benedict, french toast, omelette, swedish pancakes plus we all received 2 huge cinnamon rolls which is their signature dish. We could only get through one cinnamon roll - absolutely delicious. All the food was outstanding. We brought... More

We went to Ann Sather's for breakfast and immediately were impressed with the friendly wait staff. Each of us ordered something different and most of the items came with 2 sides. One of the sides was cinnamon rolls, so 3 of us ordered that as a side. We were expecting a couple of normal size rolls but each of us... More

We went to a private retirement/birthday party Saturday night. The food, staff, and restaurant was excellent! I heard a must for their cinnamon rolls! You must have breakfast or lunch. It is the best homemade food I have had in Chicago!
