Mon Ami Gabi is a classic French bistro and steakhouse. While the favorites are all here in abundance, there is always something new to try from the ever-evolving menu. The traditional menu features classics such as the warm Onion Soup Au Gratin, Frisee & Bacon Salad with a soft-poached egg and croutons, Roast Chicken grand-mere style with mushrooms, bacon and pearl onions, as well as the trademark Steak Frites. To complement the cuisine, an extensive selection of over 80 boutique French wine varietals are served by the glass or bottle from our signature rolling wine cart. Guests will enjoy the airy interior with our large French windows opening out onto the Lincoln Park Conservatory, or in the summer months, the lovely outdoor garden. Please Note: Reservations are taken for indoor seating only. Outdoor patio seating is available on first-come, first-serve bases.

Great French food, great service!

We had a wonderful meal here last week. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable. Nice wine list, both the house brand wine and the others were very good. I had the filet mignon with red wine reduction, best steak I have ever had. My son had a salmon special and he loved it. Bananas foster... read more

Great atmosphere for family Sunday brunch. Crowded but able to hear table conversation. Great champagne with mixers.

Delicious in every way! Four of us loved every dish. Outside dining on a summer sultry night completed the "staycation" feel of this place. Could have been in Europe.

We have ridden by Mon Ami Gabi for a long time and finally made the decision to try it. What a find! From the moment we were seated (outside) and greeted by Denise, the evening progressed in a fun filled, food fest way. Denise gave us some great wine advice (complete with a few tastes) to compliment our meals. Our... More

As returning Chicago visitors if possible we enjoy coming here for dinner. The serving staff is always polite and efficient with helpful suggestions. Its location adjacent to Lincoln Park make it an excellent destination after a visit to the zoo. Food is good value although not inexpensive and wine selection is outstanding Will return on next visit.

I actually visited a few years back. We lived in the Belden for a short time while work was being done on our house. The food was delicious and the ambiance quite nice. Service was fast and efficient but we didn't feel rushed. I've actually dined here about 4 times and each time was a positive experience with great food.

Just a pleasant dining experience in a French Bistro in Lincoln Park. We've been here twice in the past 5 years and I was a bit concerned after reading some recent negative reviews. We dined om June 06/20/2015 and found it as delightful as out last visit 4 years ago. They have a very small, quaint bar and you are... More

The restaurant was packed for dinner. Even with reservations we had to wait about 10 mins. Not bad at all for the wonderful dinner we enjoyed. The restaurant had served a brunch all day and we couldn't tell that our server, Diane, had been working since that morning. She was absolutely the BEST! Friendly, good sense of humor and knowledgeable... More
