Great group dinner

Several family members met in Chicago for a long weekend and this was the perfect place for dinner. Food is Spanish tapas, so you order several small things (we did 10 things for 8 people) and taste lots of different foods. I made reservations at this restaurant mainly for its close proximity to where we were going to be but had no idea how the food would exceed my expectations! Three of us shared several menu items to sample a variety of the items. We were very full but could not resist the amazing dessert selections, also tapas size, which was... More

Tapas the way it should be - every dish an exciting surprise in taste! Add to that the great service and awesome bread, we'll be back for sure. Even though this area has so many other interesting looking restaurants, we will find it hard to walk past Ba-Ba-Reeba.

Most of the food was great! There were two of us and we each ordered 2 pinxtos (chorizo/date thing was amazing) and then we ordered 5 tapas to share which was almost too much food. The ham and chicken croquetas were my favorite! Wasn't impressed with the hanger stake at all. The ambiance was fun, only complaint was that the... More

We went for brunch. The service was excellent and most of the food was really delicious. It is very hard to decide how much to order when you have a big group of 12 people from three generations. I would highly recommend asking for the quantity in each dish as some are as small as one piece(deviled egg - delicious!)... More

Saturday evening tapas couldn't get any better! Seated quickly, greeted by waitress immediately, ordered and served in a snap! The special drink of the night was mango sangria--sweet white wine mixed with fruit juice and spiked with apple and orange pieces--served very cold which made it very refreshing. All the tapas we ordered were excellent: very fresh-tasting, piping hot, served... More

I loved everything about this restaurant. We were able to get a 4:30 Saturday reservation for 8 two days in advance and parking on the street in front of the restaurant was much easier than we expected. The atmosphere is wonderful and even though the restaurant is busy, it doesn't feel like it and the staff does a wonderful job... More

Every dish is fabulous! It's fun to be able to have a variety of different dishes, as this is tapas. Our family shared a big pitcher of sangria and we all loved all the different dishes. They went overboard to accommodate our gluten-free member, with fresh gluten-free bread. You usually need reservations, and if you can get in the patio... More

Delicious tapas and sangria! Lots of interesting and delicious tapas options, and very good sangria. The staff was kind and helpful. The resaurant was packed, but it was still quiet enough to have a pleasant conversation. Would definitely recommend.
