Love the buttercrust deep dish!

As a serious pizza lover, this is good pizza. The buttercrust was new to me and I was glad the deep dish pizza was made with it. Be aware that the deep dish pizzas take 30 minutes to prepare but are worth the time. We had the Chicago Classic and The Lou's. Both were delicious. The Malnati Salad... read more

Our wait was about 40 minutes but we were able to put our order for our pizza in at the same time we got on the waiting list. It was delivered about 10 minutes after we got seated. We decided on the

Chicago. Pizza. Lou Malnati's. Duh. Go at a weird time for shorter lines. Put your name on the list, grab a menu, and place an order ASAP (like, before you are seated). Don't forget the chocolate chip cookie pizza.

If you come in very hungry and are planning to order deep-dish, then you may want to get an appetizer too because your pizza will take at least 30 minutes to cook. I would recommend the fried cheese cubes as an appetizer, they were delicious. I had an individual deep dish with cheese and mushrooms, my husband had the "Lou's... More

I come to Chicago a few times a year. And you can't come to Chicago and not have pizza! Well after trying several different pizza places over the years we finally found Lou's. I am pretty sure at this point the only reason my husband likes coming to Chicago with me is for Lou's pizza! It really is that good!... More

Pizza was great. Expect to wait 30 minutes from when you place your order to receive your food as they cook every deep dish pizza made to order. Only had the pizza, so can't comment on other stuff they had. Would like to try other food they had, but you have to go with the classic pizza!

We decided to take a random trip to Chicago. Found this place close to our hotel and decided to give it a try. I'm not a huge of pizza, but ever since I've been dreaming of their original deep dish. It was so good. Will be returning again soon.

The Malnati salad was probably the best salad my wife and I have ever eaten. Sweet and smoky and crunchy. Absolutely perfect. We discovered we are not huge fans of the Chicago style deep dish, but this was a solid pizza anyway. Great service, had a really good time.

Had the quick lunch. Salad was good, sweet vinaigrette was delicious! Personal cheese and pepperoni pizza tasted like the kind that sits under a warmer at an airport all day. Nothing special here.

The pizza, of course, was all that was advertised. Thick, cheesy and delicious. While we had to wait a half hour for a table, once seated, the service was excellent. To be honest I had no plans to eat dessert but the server suggested a chocolate chip cookie, still hot, covered in ice cream. Wow! If I am ever in Chicago... More
