Very tasty food and near Second City

We ate her prior to going to the late show at Second City. I had a noodle bowl and my wife had pad thai. Both were very good and very reasonably priced. The flavors in my pork and angel hair pasta dish were great. The pad thai was also very tasty. Service was very good. Nice place to catch a... read more

We enjoyed two lunch entrées, one beef and one vegetarian noodle, and both were very good. The vegetarian spring rolls were quite unexciting though. The service at greeting was merely perfunctory. Our server was friendly, if a bit slow. The ambiance and views over the Mag Mile are a nice feature. The lunch buffet looked interesting, and we may try... More

We love sushi and thai but don't go too often so when we do, like any diner, we want it to be good, esp since the sushi part is typically pretty expensive compared to other meals. So when I found a coupon for thai and sushi I was intrigued. The menu is pretty extensive and to start we tried the... More

This is a good, clean, asian restaurant offering traditional Chinese options, but it also has good sushi and some Thai. Definitely my top-pick for restaurants in the 900 Shops. It also has great views if you get a window seating overlooking Michigan Ave.

Just enjoyed a handful of days in Chicago. One of the first things I needed after getting to the hotel was lunch. Thai food sounded good, so I had the concierge recommend the nearest Thai restaurant. (I guess what I forgot to ask for was the nearest "good" Thai restaurant.) Things started out promising enough when I found out that... More

Ordered chicken and shrimp pad thai and a beef curry. It all arrived in less than an hour. As I was dining solo, I put the curry and the rice that came with it into the fridge and devoured the pad thai. One note: For free delivery you need to order at least $25 total. The curry was just OK... More

I've come to this place a couple of times before with friends and the food is always amazing. The hostess as well as the servers are very pleasant and everything was delicious. I always try to come here when I'm visiting Chicago and they have $5 cocktail specials occasionally

My family eats here every Friday night and we join whenever we're in town. Love the Thai tea bubble tea and haven't had a bad dish here yet. Very accommodating to changes.

Average food with unfriendly service. Nice views of the lake if you are seated in the right place. Nothing special at all about the food but it is just fine if you need sustenance during your shopping mania.

This place is tucked away in a not-very-obvious location on the top floor of a shopping mall on N. Michigan Ave. We went only because of its close proximity to our hotel and were pleasantly surprised. Menu features Thai, Chinese and Japanese items. We did not sample the Japanese, but the Thai and Chinese we ordered were very good. Service... More

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
