BBQ Pork was good

We ate a Watertower Foodlife. The bbq pork sandwich was very good. It's an interesting concept for a food court. Quickly prepared food that was good.

On our first day in Chicago we were doing a spot of shopping and needed a place to eat and stumbled across the Foodlife eaterie. It is a great place to eat with such a large choice of food I took a while and a few laps around the place to decide on what to eat but settled for Chinese... More

We've been to FoodLife a few years ago and everything was pretty much the same this visit. Great variety of food choices and food is prepared well for this type establishment. Their soups are always good. We love to eat at the Southern Restaurant where you can get vegetables/barbeque.

We stay around the corner at the Hilton Suites on Delaware and this is just a short 8 minute walk. Breakfast is a deal 7.49 for the special - French toast, eggs, bacon, hash browns. By Chicago standards this is a steal. The hotel charges 15.00 for the same thing and if you order room service its 24.00 with the... More

To tell the truth, I may be a little jaded from travelling. I was told from friends how many choices of food there were and it was hard to make a choice. Having traveled to many places around the world, the choice of food really doesn't compare to other cities like San Diego or Singapore, but is pretty good considering... More

We recently spent some time at Watertower Place on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.....and of course needed to grab a quick bite so we could continue our adventures. At first glance, the eating area made NO SENSE....but a very helpful hostess walked us through the process....very slick! Upon entering, you let the host/hostess know if you are eating at a table... Great choices! Great food! Simple! Fast! We loved this concept and the food was fantastic. It's like a glorified food court and cafeteria with a lot of different stations of food. You choose the type or types of food you want, go to those stations, they plate it for you, you take it and enjoy. There were stations like "Comfort"... More

We discovered this place while staying at the Ritz Carlton on a recent trip to Chicago. Foodlife is in the Water Place Mall and is attached to the Ritz Carlton Chicago and you never even have to go outside or put your coat on to get to it. Simply take the hotel elevator to floor 2 and go into the... More

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
