Lots of choices

This place is great-there are tons of places in here to pick from. From soups, salads, pasta, mexican, asain, bbq, desserts and much more. They have tons of seating and usually pretty quick service too. We always stop here when we are in town for shopping.

You get one entrée, salad or soup and drink for $10. I had a half slab of ribs with two sides, a salad and drink. My wife had stir fry, soup and a drink. Good meal at a great price.

Be careful or you'll spend more than you anticipated. I know we did. But all the food was so delicious we could not resist. Try it!

We've eaten here a few times when visiting Water Tower. There are many different choices and types of cuisine to choose from. Prices are reasonable. The tacos and the bbq are quite good!

We ate breakfast here. It was ok, but easy in a pinch. We were originally looking for something else. Try the cinnamon roll, it was the best thing I ate.

I fell in love with Foodlife from my very first visit. It's more upscale than Foodease and the idea is that Foodlife offers you restaurant-quality food. Truth be told, it's essentially a glorified cafeteria with higher prices. If I'm being honest, the food isn't knock-your-socks-off delicious. I love it more so for the variety of foods you can purchase. My... More

Great place at Water Tower to take a break from shopping or sight-seeing and get whatever kind of food suits your mood. Quick food prep, clean environment and reasonable prices.

It works like a food court but the food is restaurant-grade. When you get in line, you get a card per person in your party and they seat you (utensils and napkins on the table already). Then each person can walk around and get whatever they want charged to the card. Once done, you take all the cards to checkout... More

Great fun looking at the variety of choices. Love the soup bar and the barbecue stand and the pasta area and everything else.

We are frequent guests at food life. We love the concept of going around to the different stations and sampling the different food. We like to order a few things then spilt them up amongst ourselves. This most recent visit was lackluster for us. The food was just meh lacking either warmth or flavor. The service was friendly though. We... More

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
