Had the sesame chicken plate while visiting Water Tower. Good but hot! Interesting concept filling cards.

A big food court. I choose the stir fry and it was very disappointing. Barely any meat added. They put us next to a really loud speaker that made it very difficult to have a conversation. Lines were long at many of the stations. The worst was they add a 15% gratuity to your meal when you do all the... More

Ate here for the second time while shopping in the Water Tower. I love the concept. You are guided to a seat. Then you can go and pick what you want from many different stations. If you are in the mood for homestyle, mexican, italian, burgers, sushi, etc you can find it here. There's a card on the table that... More

Visiting Chicago for 4 days, and was disappointed to experience such poor customer service during day 1. FYI: Mity Nice serves customers at tables, whereas Foodlife is more of a self serve idea. They are located in the same dining area and share waitstaff, cooks etc. We chose the Foodlife experience, but am reviewing the establishment as a whole. From... More

This re-imagined take on a mall food court is fun and interesting and just a tad confusing, at least to this first timer. foodlife is the restaurant and within that space are 14 stand- alone food stalls, including kitchens for stir fry, pasta, barbeque, salads, taqueria, comfort food, sushi, soup and juice to name a few. When you enter, a... More

Located on the lower level of the John Hancock (now 360) building. Many choices including BBQ, sushi, pizza, and Asian to name a few. Walk around and get something from each place if you want. An endless bowl of soup, with the option to choose from 8 to 10 varieties (one after another), for about $8 is a good value.

Foodlife is located at Water Tower Place on Michigan Ave. They have a very good efficient system which is really great if you are pressed for time. The different food is set up in different stations and you are handed a card which is swiped at each station, once you are done eating you simply take the card to the... More

Have you ever been in a car with two crying/screaming children? I have. Trust me, its not a good experience..One wants sushi the other one pasta. As a mom you dont want screaming/hungry children going crazy.. kids+hunger are not good friends. before you know it they end up in a fight and you trying to stuck your eyeballs out.. Not... More
