Fun and Fresh

The sushi was prepared right there as you ordered, they had some specific sushi dishes that are very good, and very accomidating for business. Was there for 3 weeks and visited the restaurant 5 times.

My mom and I walked from our hotel to RA, and we were so excited to get some yummy sushi! Our waiter told us to get the Spicy Edamame appetizer and man was it delicious! We even wanted to lick the rest of the sauce! I ordered The Crazy Monkey Roll and fell in love immediately. The mango and avocado... More

This was my first time dining at this restaurant and went with a few work colleagues for dining. RA has a nice neighborhood feel, there were a lot of locals in the restaurant watching the Blackhawks play-off game. The sushi was great and a different menu than most with excellent presentation. We sat at the bar due to arriving at... More

Fresh off the plane, this was a suggestion given by hotel. Great service and fantastic sushi. Ahi Tuna small plate was my favorite. Worth a visit for sure.

RA is a nice sushi restaurant price is medium - high, but food is good. It is extremely popular, sometimes hard to find a table. Not the fastest service in town.

A must try if you're into sushi. We ordered the dynamite scallops twice it was so good. Definitely a keeper in my book. Service was fast and spot on. Plus she was very knowledgeable of the menu.

We visited this restaurant for dinner. We were seated promptly but after that it was all downhill. This place was extremely loud. We waited almost 15 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. After seeing multiple servers walking past our table without even glancing at us, we got up and left.

The sushi was excellent. But you could get lost in the multiple menus. Since I tend to order the same thing it wasn't a problem. Service was very attentive. Water glasses filled, drinks re-ordered. Very good.

We had two drinks and some nigiri and tuna and avocado. Squid, scallop and Octopus. Squid had better texture than the Octopus. Nice place to sit outside for a drink. Waiter was super friendly.

Staying in Gold Coast

Neighborhood Profile
Gold Coast
Located just north of The Loop, Gold Coast is one of Chicago’s most affluent and popular neighborhoods. The original Playboy, Hugh Hefner, once had a mansion here. In addition to prestigious hotels, historic mansions and luxury high-rise apartments, you’ll also find upscale specialty boutiques and Michelin-starred restaurants. Walk along Oak Street for your shopping fix and dance through the night along Rush Street. The Newberry Library is also a great stop to check out noteworthy exhibits and rare book collections.
