Family of five took down the Earthquake in no time flat. Choose 8 ice creams and 8 toppings (hint: repeat chocolate and strawberry everything). Sorry we waited until our last night in town to try this, could have gained 70 extra pounds this week. 20% military discount...Awesome!

Pricey huge ice cream portions but very good. It's a small place and it's packed so having to wait standing up for a table with kids is not fun at all. We had fun but check. We'd rather go to a place were we could sit down at ease with not a lot of noise

My favorite thing to do while walking down Michigan Avenue is to stop and get a fudge sundae at Ghirardelli's Ice Cream shop. So good!! The hot fudge is the best I have ever had. The temperature outside was 36 degrees, but the place was still packed. The brownie sundae with hot fudge is defiantly my favorite. I highly recommend... More

First time here and I had a hot fudge sundae while my wife had a mug of hot chocolate. Everything was yummy and it was a great place to relax. We also brought some treats back for the kids. Worth a visit!

A friend took me here for dessert after dinner out for my birthday. She recommended the frozen cocoa, so I tried it. And loved it! The free samples that night were the peppermint bark, and I loved that, too! The service was quick and friendly, but it's usually pretty packed. I recommend going in summer (or at least warmer weather)... More

Stopped in for a respite from walking and shopping. Enjoyed the quick service and friendly counter clerks. Had a huge chocoate dipped strawberry as a sugar boost to get back in the fray of the crowds on the avenue but a nice relaxing place to take a break and re-energize.

This is heaven if you are a chocoholic or ice cream lover. There is a shop layout displaying all the great flavours of chocolate the company makes. Our visit was made even better with the offer at the time on our favourite........peppermint bark !!!!!!! Move into the seated area and enjoy a coffee and an ice cream sundae. It doesnt... More

My daughter wanted to come try a candy bar at Ghirardelli's, but we ended up getting a hot fudge sundae! It was pricey, but worth it. It was so yummy we ate in up in less than a min. She wanted to go back there the next night to get another one, but we ran out of time!

I've passed by this shop countless times and this past weekend my husband and I popped in for a mid-day snack. We got a Sunday with peanut butter and chocolate sauce. I think it was called the "gold rush". The ice cream was wonderful and the sauces could not have been more decadent. I also got a latte and it... More
