The staff who helped me decide what to buy were very helpful and pointed me in the right direction. Chose the mix your own bag lot. Love that option. Very nice. It was very busy that day but the staff took the time with each customer. Very special. I didn't feel run through like cattle. Also bathrooms very clean.

This place has a charm to it, especially if you can find a less busier time to visit (try not to visit on the weekend). The Ice Cream is marvelous, with several varieties, as well as root beer and coke floats. They also have a good selection of their candy, as well as homemade brownies, cookies and other treats. HAve stopped here many times over the years(n came to chicago on business),and it has always been a tea or cappuccino for me, but he ice creams are amazing, and it is a good place to take a break and rest your feet if you have been walking down the Magnificent Mile

After stopping at the Hancock, we dropped in here at around 3:30/4:00 for a nice treat. The place was packed. However, the service was good - they cleaned tables promptly. The pricing is a bit high as my basic chocolate sundae was $10. Still we enjoyed this treat.

This is "knock your socks off" D'lish! Hello ice cream, chocolate, sundaes, shakes, malts, etc. Only negative: limited seating Positives: yummy sweetness, individual portions or sharing sizes, good quality chocolate, feels like an old-timey soda fountain, and you get a free sample chocolate upon entry to the shop. My family of five shared a huge banana split tonight where you... More

Family of five took down the Earthquake in no time flat. Choose 8 ice creams and 8 toppings (hint: repeat chocolate and strawberry everything). Sorry we waited until our last night in town to try this, could have gained 70 extra pounds this week. 20% military discount...Awesome!

Pricey huge ice cream portions but very good. It's a small place and it's packed so having to wait standing up for a table with kids is not fun at all. We had fun but check. We'd rather go to a place were we could sit down at ease with not a lot of noise

My favorite thing to do while walking down Michigan Avenue is to stop and get a fudge sundae at Ghirardelli's Ice Cream shop. So good!! The hot fudge is the best I have ever had. The temperature outside was 36 degrees, but the place was still packed. The brownie sundae with hot fudge is defiantly my favorite. I highly recommend... More

This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
