Hugo's was an AWESOME DINING EXPERIENCE! I took my wife last Thursday for dinner for her 30th birthday. We arrived for our 6:15 dinner res. five minutes early and I thought $14 for valet parking in downtown Chicago was reasonable. We were seated at a booth right away. Rosemary was our server and she was pleasent, attentive, and wished my... More

My wife and I were staying at the Thompson, just across N. Rush and wanted to have an afternoon cocktail. Hugo's was very pleasant, with a nicely made cocktail in a classic bar setting. We snacked on a portion of fries that was cooked beautifully. Busy, but not too noisy on an early Saturday evening.

I came here with a large business group. Our waiter made excellent recommendations on appetizers and entrees. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was the best I ever had - definitely plan to return and have it again!

After a few years made a return visit to Hugo's and was not disappointed. First rate service and fun bustling atmosphere. Ordered oysters rockerfeller and they were classic and well done. Crab cakes were still just as good as I remembered. Huge chucks of lumb crab served with hot pink peppercorn mayo. The best! Much too full for dessert given... More

A must visit every time I travel to Chicago. Great steak with awesome fish/seafood too. Great atmosphere in bar area with tasty apps while waiting for a table. Good selection of wine. Attentive service while not feeling rushed.

They have the best pork chop I have ever had. Cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. All of the dinner's we had were all excellent. This place is not as kid friendly as others we have visited in Chicago but we have taken our younger children there 3 or 4 times now. We have never felt out of place having them... More

My husband and I came to Hugo’s for our 2nd anniversary dinner. My husband called ahead to reserve a great table and to let them know it was a special occasion. We were both excited as we had heard great things and have been to Gibson’s (their ‘sister restaurant’) several times and have always enjoyed their food. We must have... More

Vibrant place, delicious food, I recommend you not to eat much few hour prior to you visit as the portions are massive, and the food just too good to waste. We've had oysters, monkfish and Alaska crab - all absolutely fantastic. What I liked about the place was relaxed atmosphere, attentive waiters, good selection of wines. However, bit crowded and... This is such a great restaurant and fun atmosphere! The food was all delicious and the seafood was incredibly fresh. Don't miss the calamari! They are know for their martinis and they did not disappoint! Save room for their signature dessert - a huge cookie with lots of chocolate chips and ice cream!
