This place is located on the Mag Mile. You will expect to pay more on the Mag Mile but I mean really. They did take advantage of tourists. Friendly enough staff, grossly overpriced! Beware! $$$$ that should be $$

In the 1950s and 1960s, the nightlife in Chicago was centered in the Division and North Rush Street neighborhood...Mr. Kelly's, Blue Note, Jilly's, Faces, Tony's Cellar, Harry's Cafe, BackRoom, lots of jazz joints and saloons. Now the area has been revived. It is Restaurant Row...Lou Malnati's, PJ Clarke's, Tavern on Rush, Carmine's, Gibson's, Dublin's, Morton's, Butch McGuire's, Zebra Lounge, McFadden's,... More

Stopped here for a pre-dinner drink and appetizer. Was fortunate enough to immediately find a table in the ground floor bar section. Downside here is that tables are packed pretty close to one another . Discrete and very efficient service. Had drinks (they make a great Margarita) and Blue Point oysters, very fresh and tasty. Would return here.

5 of us were there for business dinner and it had a friendly and convivial vibe. Food was really good and best part about the King crab legs is that they are pre- peeled and comes in half pound portions to allow tasting of other dishes. Legs were a tad salty for my liking. Otherwise really good food and atmosphere.

one of my favourites for either table or sit at the bar meals/service . Always crowded which adds to the vibe. Nice seafood or great steak from Gibsons next door. There solo and just fit in. Recommended.

This is a really nice place with a crowded bar (meant positive) and some astonishing seafood. The frog legs doesn't taste too much - it's more a fun thing. But the seafood platters, lobster tail, crab legs and steak were all delicious and the wine list is long and great. The service is excellent and all dishes very well presented.... More

Went on a recommendation from a friend that goes there a lot. We really enjoyed our meal and the wait staff. I would recommend this. Wide range of food choices. My Girl friend and I have different food tastes and we always have trouble agreeing on a nice restaurant. This didn't disappoint and served us both great.

After a long day of shopping we met up with friends and their family at Hugo's for dinner. We were a large party of 9, but had a reservation at 7:30 pm which were promptly honored. The menu is quite large with many fish options, but plenty of steak from Gibson's next door. I would have to say it was... More

Hugo's is a great combination of a place that serves top quality food but has a fun atmosphere - we sat in the bar. This place offers the opportunity to enjoy high quality food in either a more formal environment (at a table) or more low key environment at the bar. I was interested in the more low key scene... This was just what we wanted for a fancy Thanksgiving dinner (early) with the tweens. It was upscale but not too fancy that they felt awkward. Good upscale food for the adults and enough selections for the kids. Gramps loved the steaks from Gibsons. Grams loved the whitefish dinner. Food was fabulous!
