Fantastic Italian food! Well executed, well served in a beautiful setting. Menu is upscale and fresh and servers are knowledgable and super attentive. You would not be disappointed. Getting in and out of the building is a bit challenging but hey it's Chicago.

My husband and I treated our friends to dinner and it was beyond expensive for what we expected. Our waiter inquired as to our allergies, we stated mine, yet when dessert came around, it was completely disregarded with no apology offered. I could not enjoy our dessert selections because of this. Also, the menu pricing states appetizer pricing only, so... More

I can't say it was fantastic. The food didn't knock my socks off, but it was good enough and I would recommend. I was there as part of a business group and we were treated well.

Beautiful interiors, furnishings, lounge with superb service. However the food was a disappointment. Not worth the money. Bland, flat and lacking in the level of taste I would expect.

I have always wanted to dine at what is considered Chicago's best Italian restaurant. The Chicago Tribune recently gave the restaurant 4 stars so that was my impetus for finally eating there. It's a lovely space with fantastic service for the most part. First a few notes on service: overall it was great although there were a few times we... More

Beautifully redecorated and reimagined space - lovely views, nice new lounge area, slightly more relaxed atmosphere. Food is better than ever; the first course scallop was perfectly cooked, very nice presentation. Caprese salad was pretty and delicious - though rather sparse. Gnocci was fabulous, as always. Turbot was also delicious, but Guinea Hen was something very special and quite tasty.... More

My husband and I were in Chicago for a Broker/Dealer Conference and were treated to a Private Party at Spiaggia. We took an elevator up to the 3rd floor where we were escorted to a private room with a Lake view. It was very elegant with just the right amount of 'open space' for mingling and a table for the... Great food and wonderful service. The atmosphere is not that appealing coming off the escalator from the Mall into the restaurant. Price for lunch was very reasonable for the stature of this restaurant. My biggest surprise was the overall atmosphere wasn't all that great.

Wife and I indulged ourselves in a superb tasting menu with wine pairing dinner on a lovely summer Friday evening. The service was impeccable, with cool views of Michigan Ave. The dishes were a work of art and flavors.....not your typical Italian fare in the least, but that's what made it so special. favorite dishes were the ravioli with fois... My husband had been here years ago and remembers his dinner still. I went with a friend while in town over my birthday. Lovely service, lovely food. Sommalier had to help with wine choice because the wine/drink menu is like 35 pages long -- she made a great choice. Delightful little extras, meal and desserts were fabulous. Spend the money,...
