Save room for the S'Mores dessert !!!

My husband and I had a great dinner here while visiting Chicago. Though this restaurant is kind of out of the way, it was worth the trip. We each had the chilled corn soup for an appetizer and it was amazing. For entrees, my husband had the Bison and I had the duck. Both were excellent. You... read more

Amazing food. So, so atmosphere. The food is the star here. Service is also good but the decor could use some work. Reminded me of a banquet room. It's a bit of a shame as the food is excellent!

We chose MK because of its good reviews and that is had a lower noise level. Our request for a quiet table was honored. We were visiting family and friends in Chicago, a group of 5, including two older women, and we wanted to be able to have conversation without having to shout. It was a lovely evening from start... After four years in Chicago, we have finally found our favorite restaurant!!!! We booked an impromptu dinner at MK just after they reopened following their normal summer break. While the location is a little off the beaten path, everything from the service to the quality and taste of the food was off the charts. My wife ordered from the tasting... More

If it needs to be special, it has to be MK! An amazing menu of local cuisine, the selections NEVER fail to delight and surprise! This is hands- down one of the best options for great food and amazing value. A standard winner!

Really good food with an innovative menu. While the place is not cheap it is fairly priced for what you get. My only complaint is their web site would not display its menu. Hopefully they get it fixed.

It was our first time at MK and certainly won't be the last. Amazing foie gras, figs & feta to start and duck with farro and blueberry/cocoa reduction was perfection. Super spanish wine from Castilla y Leon to pair our food. Outstanding service by Steve and nice dessert made out night memorable. Next time in Chicago we will definitely be... More

I had dinner at MK with work colleagues. The service was really stand out. Anticipating every little thing we could need or want without seeming overbearing. It's a bit off the beaten path, but still fairly close to everything. We all really enjoyed our meal!

Had a dinner here to celebrate the engagement of our daughter. Party of 12 and we all enjoyed our meals. The waitress was terrific and the food was great. Everything about the evening was perfect. Will definitely return next time we are in Chicago.

From the service to the atmosphere to the food, everything was great! Our server used the exact amount of attention we needed. The atmosphere was very comfortable, with the possible exception of the noise level. Still we could communicate and that is all that is needed. We ordered the prix fixe and were not disappointed. It included lobster, gnocchi, salmon,... More
