Excellent food & Awesome service

There are very few vegetarian options but the staff is so helpful and eager to help. One of the best services I have seen.

Sweet location in the Park Hyatt. This open roof restaurant has a nice menu where you can find something for kids too. Mixed drinks use eclectic mixers ( may not be to your expected taste ).

I have been coming to Chicago for years to shop and enjoy all the things Chicago has to offer. The lunch options on Michigan Ave or just off have often felt touristy, crowded, and overpriced for marginal food. I like Giordano's as much as the next guy, but it takes forever and you want a nap, not more shopping when... More

This is a solid restaurant that can be pricey. It was very hard to get reservations within the same week, but staying at the hotel helped. The special selection by the chef were truly worth it.

This is still the best choice for a refined breakfast in the city of Chicago. The room is great, full of light, looking right over the Wateer Tower. Excellent chow and refined service. A delight.

We had an early dinner here before a concert on Saturday night. Since we had to eat at 5:30 (when they begin serving) we got a prime table with a beautiful view of the city and the lake. The service was wonderful with everyone being very friendly, quick, and with good recommendations. We had the Iberian Jamon and Tomato Bread... More

An early dinner before Chicago Symphony Saturday night. Arrived on time for reservation and seated by windows as we hoped. NoMi has their new menu and looks good. Joe was our server-nice person. He understood we had a concert for later that evening and schedule was important but, not to sacrifice dinner. Ordered steak tartar and foie gras. Both were... More

This was our second lunch at NoMI in the last few weeks. The room is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the food is very good. It's a pleasant place to relax and spend the early part of an afternoon. We had the salmon--properly prepared, fresh, and appealing. Our first visit's table was at the window--a wonderful view. The second... More

We ordered a table 3 weeks prior specifying it was for a 75th birthday celebration and called up on the day to ensure a cake was prepared and we were also happy to pay for it. Long behold as we approach dessert the cake was missing in action, actually it wad never prepared. We got a candle stuck into a... More

Hotel breakfasts can often be two things: expensive and disappointing. While MoMI is far from cheap, it offers great value i the quality of the food and service, the atmosphere, and the breathtaking view of Lake Michigan.

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
