Chefs experience

Visited for our daughters birthday. A wonderful evening with chef selecting and presenting the dishes. Absolutely first class and we were so well looked after. Wine pairing was also excellent.

We went to NOMI on Saturday April 11. Arriving at about 8 pm, as we were taken to our table, we had to pass thru NOMI's loud and raucous bar. So loud that when we were seated at our table, we could barely hear one another. The waiter was distracted, however the busboy was very kind, and attentive. For the... More

This is a great place to have a night out - the views tom the bar and restaurant are wonderful. You will be paying for the view though - the entrees are almost double the price I'd expect - $42 for a pork chop? I'm still glad we went but probably won't return often -

Amazing place for brunch any time of the year but in the Spring/Summer you can dine outside and it's gorgeous. Such a nice array of foods to choose from and the mimosas are delicious. The brunch buffet has so much to offer from breakfast staples to sushi to salads. This is a must do if you are in Chicago.

Not only did I have breakfast in NoMi Kitchen during my stay at the Park Hyatt Chicago, but I had the pleasure of having dinner there as well. Every meal was terrific with great service from the staff.

My boyfriend and I spent a fantastic Friday night dinner here at NoMI. It was a romantic setup, with a nice view of the city as well as a view of the open kitchen. You can tell that each dish is handled with delicacy. Service is top notch. We started with the east & west oysters as an appetizer and... More

The best sushi I have had ever! Made with big eye tuna and avocado and cucumber. The wine selection is enormous. The service is great. The lounge area is nice, and the restaurant areas are nice. I had a great time.

My wife and I stayed at the Park Hyatt and met her brother and his date for dinner and drinks at Nomi. The food was excellent. We all had different entries and none disappointed. The desserts were good. We were seated with a nice view of Michigan Ave.

We couldn't have been happier. We've been to Restaurant Week before and have experienced how quality is often compromised because of the event. This was not at all the case with NoMI. The food was wonderful, but as, if not more important, was the fact that the environment is amazing. We had a table by the windows looking out and... More

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
