Big Beautiful Breakfasts

Hotel breakfasts can often be two things: expensive and disappointing. While MoMI is far from cheap, it offers great value i the quality of the food and service, the atmosphere, and the breathtaking view of Lake Michigan.

Beautiful atmosphere and excellent service ! My favorite was lobster salad, was very unusually served yet so tasty ! We were seated by the window with an amazing view of the Water Tower, magnificent ! They treated us with two glasses of champaign for my birthday , thank you David Samuel!

Tonight ok food but would have been much better if served HOT and not almost cold (luke warm). Chef never came to the table to offer an explanation only the NoMi Manager for the evening. Which leads our group to believe the Chef had the night off. If that was the case the Chef in charge should have had the... More

My title sums it up - easy to get reservation. Sat by window which made it easy to see the amazing view - restaurant is located on 7th floor of hotel. The menu was limited and the food wasn't anything special. I think if I came again I would just do drinks at the bar up here.

One of the better restaurants you are going to find in a Hotel. Very good menu, bar and wine list along with unique and interesting preparations of food. Nice view from he restaurant and a relaxed, upscale feeling to the place. Great service and great food.

We had drinks and appetizers waiting to check in Hotel. It was a nice staff and nice view! The sushi was fresh and ginger was white, no artificial colors here!

We recently had lunch there. Stunning views of Michigan Ave add to the experience of fabulous food and service. Great selection of wines by the glass and a massive wine list are there to complement your dining experience. We had raw oysters, asparagus soup, grilled fish and skirt steak, all prepared faultlessly. A chocolate mousse was heavenly.

Visited for our daughters birthday. A wonderful evening with chef selecting and presenting the dishes. Absolutely first class and we were so well looked after. Wine pairing was also excellent.

We went to NOMI on Saturday April 11. Arriving at about 8 pm, as we were taken to our table, we had to pass thru NOMI's loud and raucous bar. So loud that when we were seated at our table, we could barely hear one another. The waiter was distracted, however the busboy was very kind, and attentive. For the... More

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
