A little place of calm in Chicago. A rooftop terrace where you can go for a drink or a meal away from the hustle of Chicago. After a bus trip around Chicago a little place of quiet was In order. This was the place to go. High in the rooftops, great staff, quick and attentive, we went there a couple... More

Just left Nomi. Six friends $450. Not a horrible price point for a Michigan Ave hotel. Service was not slow it was barely there. Water glasses empty the entire time. I asked the person who dropped off our two food items for hot sauce that never came. Wine for our two bottles served once. Best part is they included the... More

Dropped by on the "spur of the moment" for a late lunch at their Garden rooftop patio. Lucky enough to find a table open without a reservation. Service was friendly, attentive, and ambience was refreshing and relaxed after a morning of sightseeing. Highly recommend the fresh turkey club sandwich for lunch!

Many friends of mine had been eating and brunching here. So when I was staying at Park Hyatt, I had to give it a try. My sister, niece, and I had a lovely breakfast here. The view was breathtaking. They sat us by the window and it was pretty cool to see the city of Chicago and the lake as... More

Pathetic! Poor service, operated, arrogant, and at the end of the day, it is better to make a right out of hotel, next night, walk a few blocks, and have the pcik of the litter, there are tons of grrat restaurants! Even Carmine"S with it's tremendous volume treats you better.

It was our anniversary and we did request a table with a view. It is a great view, we have requested it before and not gotten it. We were fortunate and received a great table. They provided us with delicious gluten free rolls and advised us on the gluten free options the were available to us (no menu). I had... More

We love this very fancy and expensive restaurant not only for it's food, which is excellent but for it's wonderful view looking east towards Lake Michigan. the problem is that even with a request for a window table you are not assured to get it. We DID NOT. So instead of facing the wonderlul view we looked directly at a... More

We came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised about their selection. Found a lot to chose from. Unfortunately, the customer service was lacking. Did not get bread while other tables did. Plus, I had to ask twice for additional chips. Would suggest coming here for drinks too.

Balmy weather and great rooftop bar. Yummy apps and drinks with a well dressed and varied crowd. Will go next time for dinner

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
