Simple contemporary decor, interesting food items. Staff was not as friendly as the other Park Hyatt staff we encountered, but the food was delicious and ambience was great for a late night drink and snack.

We loved everything. We walked almost every where. We also used the water taxi service to and from the hotel.

I loved the waiter. He was excellent. I think his name was Daniel. We talked, and he made the meal wonderful. My food was okay. I had the fish with celery. I would have loved to taste more diversity in my mouth with each bite. What I meal by this is the following: sweet with tart, etc. The fish was... More

Slow service out on the patio, expensive (but expect that at a high-end hotel) with a non-impressive menu selection and I ordered a mocha that was made (and re-made) and never tasted like a mocha.....just extremely strong coffee.

Perhaps not a hot spot for which to make any detour, other than from one's hotel room. But for the standard fare, there was little about which to grumble. And it is very convenient to be able to repair to one's bedroom after dinner's done.

There are very few vegetarian options but the staff is so helpful and eager to help. One of the best services I have seen.

Sweet location in the Park Hyatt. This open roof restaurant has a nice menu where you can find something for kids too. Mixed drinks use eclectic mixers ( may not be to your expected taste ).

I have been coming to Chicago for years to shop and enjoy all the things Chicago has to offer. The lunch options on Michigan Ave or just off have often felt touristy, crowded, and overpriced for marginal food. I like Giordano's as much as the next guy, but it takes forever and you want a nap, not more shopping when... More

This is a solid restaurant that can be pricey. It was very hard to get reservations within the same week, but staying at the hotel helped. The special selection by the chef were truly worth it.

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
