Have had the good fortune to dine here twice. From the friendly welcome to the wonderful food I cannot fault it. I had oysters followed by the bone in ribeye, cooked perfectly and so tender it fell apart. 100% all round

The food Gods are in alignment!!! The taste, presentation, price points, and Waite staff (service) was in perfect alignment during my visit at Morton's!! I felt like I was at a luxury car dealership and they had rolled my car out on the Red Carpet and unveiled it!!! Don't get me wrong, I've eaten at other Steak Houses in Chicago... More

Always a great place for us when we visit Chicago. A must do with very tasty and tender steaks. We like to sit in the bar area which was recently renovated. Attentive staff and highly recommended.

Generally I think Morton's has good food, BUT...quality control is definitely lacking.I was there for a business lunch - Like most everyone at my table, I ordered Caesar Salad, Filet, mashed potatoes and dessert. Yet my salad did not come with any cheese or toast point as did all the others - go figure --- no big deal but... However,... More

Great steak! think this place is underrated and not recognized enough in Chicago. The service was excellent and waitstaff had knowledge of entire menu. Manager attentive, ambiance romantic.

I went to Morton's Steakhouse Chicago (the Wacker Drive, downtown location) on a cold Wednesday in February 2015, for Restaurant Week. The cozy, quiet, and elegant atmosphere made for comfortable seating and conversation. Our large round table (9 guests) and plush leather-cushioned chairs made the sit down dinner very enjoyable. The set menu for restaurant week offered many great options,... More

We have eaten here many times. The food and service is always great but the prices will cause heart palpatations but you know that before you get here. The filet mignon, crab stuffed shrimp and bacon-wrapped scallops were perfect. Highly recommended, especially if you're eating on someone else's dime!

Staying in Gold Coast

Neighborhood Profile
Gold Coast
Located just north of The Loop, Gold Coast is one of Chicago’s most affluent and popular neighborhoods. The original Playboy, Hugh Hefner, once had a mansion here. In addition to prestigious hotels, historic mansions and luxury high-rise apartments, you’ll also find upscale specialty boutiques and Michelin-starred restaurants. Walk along Oak Street for your shopping fix and dance through the night along Rush Street. The Newberry Library is also a great stop to check out noteworthy exhibits and rare book collections.
