One of the best steaks we ever had!

A little claustrophobic...downstairs without very high ceilings. Shrimps in shrimp cocktail were large. Good size and very tasty Caesar salad. Filet mignon was good but the best part of the meal was the Cajun ribeye was absolutely awesome!!! Made us wish we had foregone appetizers so we could have... read more

I could live off of the sides at steakhouses and be happy - I don't eat steak, but every side I/we tried was delicious. I highly recommend the mac and cheese. Everything is big enough to share, too. We made a last minute reservation when our graduate decided he wanted to go out to eat before hitting the town the... More

Morton's Steakhouse is my favorite steakhouse in the USA and I have visitem many of their restaurants during the years. This was my first time in this one and it stood up to it's high standards. I took the bone in prime rib which was outstanding! Made to perfection mid/rare. Atmosphere and service perfect too. A must!

Every bite was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! My steak was incredibly juicy and cooked to perfection. The potatoes we ordered to share were also scrumptious! My friend got a wonderful dessert! A bit pricey but that is to be expected at a steakhouse in a city.

OK, so you pay over $100 per person and you have a shared app. The steak I had was at best choice, and it was awful. Ordered medium and it came medium rare. Staff and managers where stuffy and the place will make you fall asleep. Get the steak house concept but come on, if you charge a ton at... More

I liked the meal it was awesome, tasted great. I am more of a thrifty traveler so it was a little expensive for me. everything was ala cart. If you have the money and want a good steak this place is great.

We travel a lot and anytime there is a Mortons near our hotel, we try to have dinner in the bar during happy hour. This location kept us happy by serving up great dinner and drinks at fantastic happy hour prices. Had our usual: Petite Filet Sandwiches, truffle fries and hot chocolate cake! So delicious!

Staying in Gold Coast

Neighborhood Profile
Gold Coast
Located just north of The Loop, Gold Coast is one of Chicago’s most affluent and popular neighborhoods. The original Playboy, Hugh Hefner, once had a mansion here. In addition to prestigious hotels, historic mansions and luxury high-rise apartments, you’ll also find upscale specialty boutiques and Michelin-starred restaurants. Walk along Oak Street for your shopping fix and dance through the night along Rush Street. The Newberry Library is also a great stop to check out noteworthy exhibits and rare book collections.
