Found this place by searching for family-friendly restaurants. With a 10 year old and Grandma, we were a motley crew. Everything we had was delicious and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. My picky eaters (old and young) both ate well. Found close street parking and had no trouble getting seated. Ambiance was loud, but friendly. I had trouble...

I was greatly surprised to find a restaurant in The West Loop of Chicago that served country fare. It was located near Oprah's Harpo Studios. I had biscuits and gravy, eggs, and grits; it was my ideal breakfast. The price was a little more than I'd pay outside of Chicago but it was worth it. I'd go back.

Went to dinner with a group of business associates (25+) and the service was exceptional given the size of the group (no table roulette ). Food was for the most part, good southern style comfort food, the fried chicken was as good as you get in the south, along with collard greens (imagine that in Chi Town). Overall, the value...

My husband, daughter, daughter's boyfriend and I had brunch here. The food was wonderful. I had brisket hash, my husband had a cajun hash, daughter had banana pancakes and the boyfriend had eggs benedict with grits. Everyone was happy. The serving sizes were ample. Hope we get a chance to go back sometime.

This place is great for brunch. I always take my out of town guests here to eat -- fun atmosphere and good food.

I loved this restaurant for years but had not been for over two years and that is why I was shocked at my last two attempts to eat here. I stopped by for Brunch last Fall and ordered the salmon patties. We were seated at the bar as there were no tables available. We were only drinking Ice Tea and...

I went a few months back and had the worst service...quality of food is below mediocre. I would not recomment it. I would walk over to Le Peep for those in the West Loop location

Another of chicago's attempts at cajun cooking that fails to understand the subtleties of the genre. Fine if you like everything blackened and peppered to the exclusion of all other flavors.
