Everyone always talk about the place across the street...until they give Santorini a try! This is a great place to come as a family and an especially nice place to dine as a couple. The lanterns on the tables and the woven baskets hanging from the ceiling are a nice touch. The atmosphere is cozy and the decor is exactly... More

We visited on the recommendation of family. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the attentive waiter, the bread and olive oil, and the warm fire on a cold evening, but I wouldn't eat here again. I had lamb with some kind of traditional sauce and long macaroni noodles. It was heavy in taste and I really wanted something lighter and more flavorful.... More

this was my first visit and i was very pleased with the service, the meal, and the atmosphere. I had grilled shrimp kebabs and they may have been the largest shrimp i've ever had. everything was delicious and it was no problem to order gluten-free and dairy free. It was a great meal and i'd definately go back to Santorini.

Went for lunch on a Saturday to this well known place in Greek Town, Chicago. Only a very few table inside were occupied with customers, The place was most empty. We ordered an appetizer and were rushed by the waiter. We eat the flaming cheese as quickly as flaming cheese can be eaten.. then we order out entrees. Again we... More

We have been to Greece and have a good friend who had a Greek restaurant in Houston. So we were very happy to stay in the Greek area of Chicago. This place was really good. I had Exohiko lamb and my partner had the Lamb Protogiahini special. Mine was better and more interesting. Lamb and vegitables in a philo dough... More

We have family living in Chicago that hosted us here, and what a treat it was! The ambiance is like having dinner at your Greek granny's house. Authentic, cozy ambiance. Our host ordered an assortment of appetizers, calamari, flaming cheese, hummus, taziki with fresh bread...all wonderful. Our waiter was patient, informative and attentive. Nice wine selections and fantastic food. Fantastic... More

Greek food as a change of pace with a family of grown kids and their significant others was great! A bottle of wine with some taking cocktails, octopus, flaming cheese, and good bread was for starters. The lamb special in sauce was mmmm good, as was the grilled snapper and crab legs. The shared Greek desserts were also sampled, and... More

My husband, 10 year old daughter and I had dinner on a Friday evening. We sat outside. Great waiter. Food was authentic and very good. Flaming cheese was awesome. Bread was amazing. Ordered swordfish, santorini shrimp and salad to share among us. Everything was fantastic! We will absolutely go back! Prices were very reasonable.

Absolutely loves this place! Waiter recommended grilled calamari which was a meal in itself! My friend and I split a meal and it was plentiful. We actually walked back to palmer house as it was beautiful evening !! Looking forward to returning this fall!!
