Great food and just a short walk from the blue line

The food was terrific. Flaming cheese, grilled mushrooms, horitiki salad - all very good! My entre was lamb and artichoke. It all came with a wine-butter-lemon hollandaise sauce and the lamb just fell off the bone. Melt in your mouth tender. I recommend trying this place!

I went to this place for the first time on a recommendation from a friend who lives in Chicago. They have a large menu that is reasonably priced. we had the fried cheese as an appetizer which was as great as the flaming presentation. OPPA! I had the lamb chops which were done to perfections. We loved it and will... More

Cold calamari, traditional dishes with little flair, heavy on sauce, light on fresh herbs and vegetables - we were underwhelmed by our experience at Santorini.

we called last minute for reservation on a frigid Sunday night and they accommodated us with a fireplace side table. The sever was very professional and prompt with everything. The food was delicious. We started with grilled octopus, tender and delicious, along with the five cold spreads which were all tasty! The Greek chicken which needs 30 mins. Was tender... More

I have tried some of the chewiest, tasteless, inedible octopus in the past. You'd think I'd learn, but when it's cooked correctly it is tasty and enjoyable to eat, packed with protein and a small amount of fat. Santorini does grilled octopus the way it should be done, tenderized perfectly and then grilled with some herbs and olive oil so... More

My husband and I both enjoy Greek food, so Chicago Greektown is a favorite place for us to go. Santorini rightly prides itself on seafood dishes. If you like Skordalia, you HAVE to have theirs!!

Chicagoans debate Greektown restaurants almost as much as they do pizza and politics -- but anyone in town asked to list the three best invariably includes Santorini. With good reason. The focus here is on seafood, and it would be hard to find any joint in the city, anywhere and any ethnicity, that does it better and at more reasonable... More

When we think of Chicago's Greektown, we think of Santorini's. Their saganaki is a must-have. It's a great place to have dinner in the city and is only a short cab ride from the Loop hotels.

Everyone always talk about the place across the street...until they give Santorini a try! This is a great place to come as a family and an especially nice place to dine as a couple. The lanterns on the tables and the woven baskets hanging from the ceiling are a nice touch. The atmosphere is cozy and the decor is exactly... More
