Not up to GreekTown Standards

Met 2 couples there for Sunday lunch. Whenever we eat in Greek Town the restaurants are busy. That should have been my tip off as the place was empty. My husband had the cold octopus salad which he liked and I had the broiled octopus and red cabbage appetizer which was difficult to eat as it was... read more

My daughter called Pegasus because she wanted to dine on the rooftop and have a view of the city for her birthday dinner. There were six of us in party and three of us got there early. I told person greeting us it was my daughter's birthday and was told to say something to Stephanos. We found him on the... More

I am not very knowledgeable or a fan of Greek food for the most part so I cannot speak to the authenticity of the flavors of the food. The shrimp and pasta dish I chose was pleasant but not overly flavorful. We ordered several appetizers including the flamed cheese All of which would benefit from pita crisps or flat bread... More

Valet Service hit my car while parking then lied that they did not do it. $1000 in damage - thank you, Pegasus. They took a picture of the damage 1 hour after our arrival claiming it was already damaged. Food: extremely poor quality, tasteless, cheap ingredients and low quantities. Chicken was not edible - felt like rubber. My kids were... More

This Greek-town restaurant is one of the better ones in Chicago with a nice array of choices, comfortable atmosphere, friendly service and reasonable prices. Just make sure you're not in a hurry, as the food takes its time getting from the kitchen to your table even during a weeknight when it's not particularly crowded.

Glad you can rely on us for some great food, Bonnie, even if we can be a little slow when we get crowded. We appreciate this feedback and we'll be sure to work on this. Hope to see you again soon! Best, Ceasar, Managing Partner More

We got off to bad start as the hostess explained we didn't really have a choice of where to sit. Our meals were good and I truly enjoyed the Greek pasta dishes. Everyone said try the flaming cheese. ours had little flavor and hardened quickly. Next visit if I go there I will go straight to the dessert and wine... More

I'm sorry if the hostess was curt with you about seating, Dave. That being said I'm glad you enjoyed the food, even if the saganaki wasn't quite right. I'm sure we'll nail it next time. Hope to see you again soon! Best, Ceasar, Managing Partner More

We stopped here about 9:30 pm on a Thursday night to enjoy the views and weather. The outdoor patio on the 2nd floor was perfect (except maybe the blue oil-cloth table coverings). We ordered glasses of Greek wine and enjoyed the spectacular evening and views of downtown Chicago. It would probably be a nice place to dine as well, as... More

If you love Greek food, this restaurant is a must. I ordered the Spanakopita and a greek salad and enjoyed every bite! My son ordered the filet and he enjoyed his steak very much. The only thing negative about this place is that there is a bar next door, and on Friday night, the Pegasus had their very "large" windows... More

It was our last night visiting our grandkids in the Chicago suburbs and we went for a family dinner. On our previous visits, since we enjoy Greek food and have been to Greece, we have eaten at other Greek restaurants, those in the suburbs. According to our son-in-law, this one is rated the best. When we arrived, the atmosphere was... More

I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed! This comes as quite a surprise, actually, considering that most people rave about our food. However, I'm sure you just came on an off-day and invite you to give us another try. Take care! Ceasar, Managing Partner More

We were a big group so it took a while to get our food but it was fantastic authentic Greek food. I had the combo plate 1 - don't remember the name, but it was all good. Baklava for dessert - soooo delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
