Yummo

We were a big group so it took a while to get our food but it was fantastic authentic Greek food. I had the combo plate 1 - don't remember the name, but it was all good. Baklava for dessert - soooo delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

If you love Greek food, this restaurant is a must. I ordered the Spanakopita and a greek salad and enjoyed every bite! My son ordered the filet and he enjoyed his steak very much. The only thing negative about this place is that there is a bar next door, and on Friday night, the Pegasus had their very "large" windows... More

It was our last night visiting our grandkids in the Chicago suburbs and we went for a family dinner. On our previous visits, since we enjoy Greek food and have been to Greece, we have eaten at other Greek restaurants, those in the suburbs. According to our son-in-law, this one is rated the best. When we arrived, the atmosphere was... More

I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed! This comes as quite a surprise, actually, considering that most people rave about our food. However, I'm sure you just came on an off-day and invite you to give us another try. Take care! Ceasar, Managing Partner More

We stayed in a nearby hotel and thought we would go Greek for a change. It was good and with large portions, but we were not sure how home-cooked the food really was, having eaten much Greek food in Europe before. The calamares were served with ketchup, the gyros looked a bit industrially made. The atmosphere was good and the... More

Sounds like we have some work to do to make it a truly authentic experience, Pomarinus. However, I guarantee you that our restaurant serves the most "home-cooked" or traditional Greek food one can find in Chicago. Our pan-fried Calamari is served with lemon and cocktail sauce (not ketchup), as is it traditionally served and expected in the United States. Also,... More

I went to Pegasus on a Friday night. Location is really nice and the decoration in the restaurant does remind a Greek tavern. People are very helpful and polite. Being Greek, I was able to speak Greek with the waiters and that added a little bit of home sweet home feeling to the atmosphere. They have a great selection of... More

I'm sorry we couldn't fully deliver on that authentic Greek experience, Manos! It can be rather difficult trying to manage the flavors of the old country with the differing tastes of the new, but we try our best. Unfortunately, some people don't have as sophisticated a palate as one would expect. Nevertheless, I'm glad you enjoyed the atmosphere. I hope... More

We went to Pegasus early this evening and found the food and the service to be excellent. We like Greektown but had never been to this restaurant before. Seven of ordered seven different entrees and everyone was very pleased. In addition to the delicious dinner, we appreciated the quiet, intimate atmosphere.

The food is pretty good...a nice blend of traditional and modern stepped-up flavors. The atmosphere is a bit gaudy and over the top. Wait staff is friendly and efficient. Definitely worth trying if you have been or will be going to Greektown regularly, but if you are just visiting and only have time to try one restaurant, you might consider... More

Ate here with the family on a Saturday night. Great food, reasonable prices, great atmosphere. Not rushed. The staff was what made the night- great people- fun, willing to humor us. All told a wonderful experience.

I simply love the food in this restaurant, they have a family dinner for a good price with incredible options. The only think that is really bad is that if you do not pay 20% gratuity they will treat you very bad!!! I think this is an absurd cause you can pay from 15% to 20% (this is the average... More

I'm very sorry you didn't receive the service you expected, Cristina. While I'm glad you enjoyed the food, it's no excuse for rudeness. You're right to say that the customer gets to decide on the gratuity. However, for parties of 6 or more, it is customary (yet not mandatory) to give at least 18%. As for the rude comments made... Wonderful Greek restaurant beautifully decorated with the traditional blue and white. Very friendly staff...a change from the usual rude Greek waiters. Food taste great! I had Greek pasta that was the best I ever had!
