Pescetarian restaurant - veggie and fish dishes only! So right up my alley. It took me an eternity to decide what I wanted because I literally wanted everything, but finally got the Chili Mac Attack. I think it was on special that night, so could not refuse. It didn't disappoint! Veggie chili with smoked gouda - I mean impossible to... More

This was the 2nd time that I've been to The Handlebar. I'm vegan and my brother is vegetarian and there are items on the menu for both of us. The food is so good, they have a nice variety of foods, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy.

Two teen vegetarians, a vegan and a meat eater all ended their meals with pies --blueberry and oatmeal -- after a very filling meal. Two of us had the Chicago tofu. It was good if a bit dry. The fries were just okay. Overall however, a good meal. I would like to try some of the other vegan options. Our... More

Good vegetarian and fish dishes; cool-nerdy looking waiters; walls decorated w/ funky band names. Refreshing change from the downtown vibe.

The staff is very friendly. The fish tacos are the bomb! See if you can spot all the birds perched throughout the place!

Great vegan and vegetarian food with a large menu so there's something for everyone. We visited for a late breakfast and were surprised by how quickly the food was served and the high quality of everything. It's a typical diner in the area in terms of layout and decor but the food will blow you away.

What a great place for breakfast and lunch. Each of us had a different dish from eggs to salad. It was a beautiful day, so we were lucky that we got to sit outside. The bloody Marys were great loaded with veggies..and you can get a beer chaser for a buck! Have you ever had fried pickles?? try them. Nice wait... More

If you're looking for a great lunch spot in Wicker Park, head over this neighborhood joint. With many healthy and tasty-sounding options on the menu, I had a difficult time deciding what to order, especially since the breakfast menu is available all day, but I ended up with the Green Meanie with avocado, goat cheese, spinach, and sprouts on multigrain... My husband and I visited this restaurant with friends for the first time this weekend based upon a suggestion from a friend. Based upon reviews online, we anticipated a lengthy wait for a group of four to be seated. However, we were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive. The food arrived quickly to our table. I ordered a bowl... More

I loved this place. A friend suggested brunch here on Saturday and the food was great! I had the chimichanga and loved it. It was hot with just the right amount of spice. The waiter was very good and helpful with his suggestions. Next time I'm in Chicago I plan to go down to Wicker park to eat here again.
