From their very unique version of a Negroni, to the cheese platter to the fantastic tasting burger -- this was a real discovery. My bacon cheese burger was perfectly cooked rare (although my companion's request for a medium-rare burger got her a rare one as well), and with well-seasoned meat. But the size of the patty was too small for... More

Whiskey boozers can go wild with the 150 varieties available, but we opted for G&T’s and a succession of Michelin star plates of gastropub goodies. A small chunk of seared foie gras is artfully arranged with two piles of apple and bacon crumble by a brushstroke of rosemary caramel. Sweet, savoury, a little sour and crunchy. Dabs of parsley purée... More

Came for breaky on a weekday. The hostess looked genuinely surprised to see us walk in and was not very friendly. We were the first patrons this day, but within opening hours. The coffee was good, food was good, service was fine, but nothing none of it worth writing home about. I don't think it is worth the trip to... More

My husband and I went to Longman & Eagle for dinner on a Sunday evening. We arrived around 5:45 and were able to be seated right away. It did fill up while we were there though, so arrive early if you want to avoid a wait. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. The food was excellent. Our... More

A friend told us about this place when he heard we were going to Chicago. The food was phenomenal. The atmosphere was not what I expected from a Michelin Star rated restaurant. It was a corner neighborhood bar. They do not accept reservations so the wait can be quite long. It was very crowded and the dress was mostly jeans,... More

This Michelin starred restaurant is located in the hip Logan Square area and it is well worth the visit. I came for breakfast and the whole meal was very tasty, especially the potatoes. Very cool spot with a nice atmosphere.

So I just titled my review, "foodie fun & whiskey" and then my husband preceded to make fun of my use of foodie and hipster. "What do you mean by that anyway?"... [crickets Chirping]... All of that too say, we read some reviews and headed out early. We feared waiting for hours, but were able to be seated in 15... More

This place was fantastic. I had the daily special and it was a pulled pork and maple aioli served over the creamiest white polenta I've ever had. Topped with an over-easy egg and I was loving every savory bite. Washed it down with a Bloody Mary and it was one of my favorite meals in Chicago.

Had breakfast there one day, The PBR breakfast came with a cold can of PBR! The bacon and sausage was outstanding, tasted like it was hand cured. Tasted my friends meals, they were just as good.

My first visit, and based on the recommendation from my daughter. This is a fun, low key place with a funky vibe. Don't let that fool you. The servers are trained well, the service is great and the food is extremely creative. Although I am a strict plant-based eater, the menu is interesting and the chef accommodated me very well...
