Worth waiting an hour for your pizza?

"Yes," in a word. The atmosphere, culinary speciality and their signature drinks helped the time pass by. When you give your name to the host/hostess, they tell you it will take 45 minutes to an hour, to prepare your pizza. They provide you with a menu and will submit your pizza order to the... read more

We wanted to experience deep dish pizza. The pizza was good, but not the best I have ever had. We were not forewarned that the pizzas take an hour to cook, but they took our order while we were waiting for a table so our wait was shorter once we were actually seated. Great service.

My husband and I tried Giordano's deep dish pizza based on recommendations from friends, as it was our first time visiting Chicago. We were not disappointed!!!! It was soooo delicious and yummy, and extremely filling! We just ordered a small cheese and we added chicken to it. It was more than enough for us! The waiter was very nice and... More

We arrived on a Friday night and couldn't believe how busy it was. We almost gave up on getting a seat but got lucky and found two seats at the bar. The pizza we ordered was fantastic. Took about an hour to come out which is normal for a stuffed pizza. We will definitely be going back next time we're... More

I would never normally write a review for take out food but for this place will make an exception. Having brought my 15 year old son to Chicago for the first time one of his wishes was to have real Chicago pizza in his hotel room (we were staying at the Hard Rock Hotel just over the road), it therefore... They certainly don't rush you out even after you wait the requisite 40 minutes for a deep-dish. Server was lovely - friendly and charming. Pizza was excellent. Antipasti salad was on point. Enjoy!

Service was great and the food was even better! I will definitely come back to this place when I visit Chicago again. There are others in the city so I imagine they are just as great!

You can't have the full Chicago experience without the deep dish pizza and Giordano's is the best! Plan on waiting 50 minutes for you pizza to cook, but other than the wait it was outstanding.

I frequently visit Chicago and....I always stop here! The pizza is amazing. Best deep dish on the planet I would say! You have to wait a bit (45-55 minutes) because of the way they cook the pizza. It's worth the wait. The deep dish has the filling INSIDE it!

Visited on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Got a lunch special for 10$ with a mini stuffed pizza & a side. Service was average, pizza was tasty. Would return.
