Great pizza, so-so service

Thankfully, we arrived just before the dinner rush, but still service was pretty slow and spotty. We waited an unusually long time for drink refills and the bill. Thankfully, we arrived just before the dinner rush, but still service was pretty slow and spotty. We waited an unusually long time for drink refills and the bill. The pizza, however, was filling and delicious. Loved the flaky crust and layers of cheese and meat (leftovers made for tasty breakfast!). Usually I'm partial to NY Style pizza, but I have... More

Just be warned 1:15 for a pizza to bake and long lines, come early! Bar is busy but well tended, great place to wait for a table.

My Chicago Bucket-list, of course, included some Chicago pizza. We ordered the 6" personal size pizza. I was disappointed in the flavor and the non-stringable cheese. The problem may lie in the size of the pizza. Neighboring tables got big pizzas and seemed to get plenty of oozing from their cheese. Price was great. Service was prompt and friendly. Location... Took about an hour to get our pizza. Definitely worth the wait though. The pizza was delicious and the staff was great. Very good experience. Would highly recommend.

Went for lunch after a bike tour, so we were very Hungary and the amount of food would satisfy most people. We went for the famous deep dish pizza which took about 45 minutes, but worth the wait. Our mistake was to be talked into a starter, which was nice and for 2 people plenty to share. The problem is... More

We went to this pizza place end of last month, and it's delicious as always! It's a must-do if you are ever in Chicago. We actually tasted our first Giordano's pizza last year as a delivery, and both times the pizzas were fantastic! It's about an hour wait for the deep dish at the restaurant, but so worth it!

Oh how I wish they were near me! Fabulous Chicago deep dish pizza! We went on a Friday evening & had to wait about 20 minutes, but it is so worth it no matter how long you wait. Staff is very good about attending to your needs. We ordered our pizza while we're waiting to be seated, and it worked... More

Experience deep dish pizza for the first time that is. Despite the sauce being salty it was a tasty pizza. The restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. We did not feel rushed even though Im sure there were people waiting for our table. You can dine in or out and even pick up a pizza crust to take home with... More
