I came across this little restaurant on the way to the Frank Lloyd Wright House. Simple lunch buffet with a wide variety to choose from, including vegetable, lamb, and chicken. The food was tasty. The rice pudding however lacked some flavor and was lumpy. The service wasn't quite take it or leave it, just reserved. Overall, I liked the place,... More

I adore Indian Food. These guys would be right up the street from my hotel. But the locals say they lost their lease and are looking for a new place. So this is just a warning that they simply don't exist right now.

My wife and I ate at Klay Oven in Oak Park for several meals over the past two years. Klay Oven serves tasty, delicious Indian food. We often go for either the lunch special or lunch buffet. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is attentive. I would recommend a visit to Klay Oven for savory Indian food.

Have been to the Oak Park location several times. Food was just okay; attitude "take the money and run!" Could have cared less.

It was a slow night and we were the only people in the restaurant so I felt bad for the staff. I couldn't understand why the place wasn't packed! The food was amazing and the staff were extremely nice. I can't wait to try it again!

The buffet for lunch is very good, never been to the dinner. The tandori chicken and the daily curred are quite good and the place is clean, good place for lunctime.

This is a clean comfortable restaurant with an affordable lunch buffet for 11.95. I took a group of 12 people meting at the Holiday Inn Mark Place and everyone enjoyed it and some plan to go back later in the week for the both the quality and quantity. The buffet makes it easy to fit it in to a busy... More

My meal at Klay Oven was a wonderful and relaxing experience. The service was impeccable and classy is the best word to describe them. The mango lassi was one of the best I have ever head, and the same goes for the samosas and the naan bread, which I could not stop eating. For the entree, I ordered the palak... More

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner and it was a really great experience. The service was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. We both agree that its the best Indian food we've ever had.

I was staying at a nearby Merchandise Mart hotel and was looking for something good in easy walk away. I enjoyed my dining experience at the Klay Oven. The lamb rice dish was very delicious, but the potato cauliflower side dish I had was the best I've ever had. Service was very good. I only had one complaint. The water... More
