Great pub

Many beers for husband to choose from, and a great burger served with fries and onion rings for our teenager. What more could we want? Husband had the fish and chips, and I had the pulled pork. All the food was good and prices reasonable.

I don't think the 'pints' they serve really are, but that didn't diminish the fun experience. It is a boisterous place and the service is good. Pub fare was OK.

In town for a conference this week, and I came across this place in a bar search...glad I checked it out. A huge selection of beers and a generous selection of food items, it was a hard decision to pick one thing to try. A surprising item was the "Black and ..." choices - Guiness with a variety of choices... More

We visited Chicago for a weekend getaway and must admit that we had a lot of fun at this sports bar/pub. We tried different beers and enjoyed most of them. The prices of the beer was a lot lower than any other restaurants we visited during our stay. And the drinks were worth every penny + more. The atmosphere is... More

The visit started on an awkward foot as the young girl at the desk quoted us a 20 minute wait time. We were first on the list and could see a table being cleared. I asked her if it might be a shorter wait as a table was clearing and she walked away. When she returned we were seated. Not... More

This wonderful Irish pub was located right across the street from our hotel. After window shopping on Michigan Ave., and looking at the river that had been dyed green this was a must to stop at. They had 48 beers on tap along with the expected green beer along with Irish Coffees not to mention corned beef. It was the... More

A group of us went here mainly for the beer selection, but came away impressed with the food and friendly wait staff. They have a large variety of beers on tap, so that is an obvious draw is you enjoy a brew. But unlike another, perhaps more famous, beer hall in the same area, the food is quite good and... More

I was recently in Chicago on business and happened upon this pub. I liked it enough that I ate there twice during my trip. It is a great place to eat and they have a great selection of beers both on tap and bottled. I really enjoyed the fish and chips and the Chicago style hot dogs I had. I... More

We arrived a little early to Chicago and could not check into our rooms, so the hotel recommended Timmy O'Tooles and it was awesome! We were in town for a bachelor party, so the beer was flowing fast! Not to mention that over 70 TV's for the NCAA tournament games. Our server, Jessica was great!

We went there after a search on Tripadvisor (as usual) and because the location was right for us. We read the critiques afterwards. I have to say that we were a bit disapointed compared to what we read about it. The atmosphere is very nice, very Pub, the drink are ok and served quickly and the staff was friendly, but... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
