We arrived at the hotel very late and very hungry. We asked the staff where we could go that was good and yet safe to walk to. They told us to go to Timothy O'Toole's Pub. We were worried that there wouldn't be room, but they were able to seat us very quickly. It was fairly dark and packed inside,... More

My husband and I were enjoying a nice vacation in Chicago when we decided to stop by a pub to have a pint and some red meat. When we ordered, the waitress didn't understand the "medium-rare" steak order (said with my husband's french accent :) ), instead she understood "medium-well". Minutes after receiving my husband's steak and him deciding he... More

As the title says, timothy's burger are huge and very good. They also have a variety of other snacks and a large list of beer. A blue moon and a good burger, nothing's better. Moreover, this is one of the few spots in chicago which is open until around 4am.

This is a classic downstairs pub with a fantastic beer selection. TV's everywhere to catch the game. The highlight was the food, we had Chicago Dogs and an awesome Rueben sandwich. Well worth a visit.

I hot the luxury of joining my husband on a business trip. We've been to Chicago before, but not here. The atmosphere is relaxed and bustling. Our food was awesome ! To much of it, so took the rest to the hotel. Our waitress Cat was always checking on us... Just what you want when you eat out! She was... More

Found this place just walking the streets in Chicago. Nice pub atmosphere. Great food. Got the Shepards pie and it was delicious. Most people in my group got burgers and was very satisfied as well. This place is great for an easy sit down with family or friends.

My friends and I had a "guy trip" and made a stop at this Pub on a Sunday evening. We had just sat down at a table when the server stopped by and asked for our drink orders on a very busy night. The pub features a large selection of draft brews and we needed more time to select. Because... More

If you want to check out a local pub, check out Timothy O'Toole's basement. Large enough venue to hold a decent amount of people- especially for sporting events. All the staff we interacted with were friendly. My first time I went for the World Cup which was fun and the second time we went for lunch. Since we were hungry... More

They have a nice beer menu but were out of the type my wife ordered. The waitress instantly recommended another alternative. My wife had the starter Salad and said it was great. I had the O'Toole burger. Burger was very good and the fries were above average. Did have some good sounding daily specials as well. The place on the... More

Went here on a Tuesday night to watch the 2014 MLB All-Star game. It was packed - literally not a seat in the house, but the atmosphere was great! The look from the outside is a little deceiving, having to go down a flight of stairs into a basement, but once you enter, you feel very comfortable. There are lots... More
