Service was excellent, but the food was simply ok. The tomatoes were almost frozen on the caprese salad and the pasta with clams missed the mark entirely. Even the bread was average which shouldn't happen at an Italian place.

This was the last place I thought I would get an incredible breakfast. Great service, incredible food, and reasonable prices. I had the eggs benedict and washed it down with a bloody mary. It's reasonable, the service is great, and the food is out of this world.

Stepped into this restaurant during a massive down pour and ordered a nice selection of antipasta, but the water glass had a nice red lipstick on two sides and the whole set of knives and forks had dry food on them. We are not put off and will go again as the good was first class

Love the food. Love the ambiance. Love the valet parking as opposed to the parking garages. Whenever I'm in Chicago I make it a point to stop in Rosebud on Rush.

While we were on the Mag Mile on a weekday afternoon, we were looking for a place to eat lunch and found this place one block off the main street. We went in at about Noon and were seated right away. The decor and style were Italian but not hard core Italian, and located beneath ground level. The feel was... More

Wonderful atmosphere. Great for business dinners. Romantic dinner or with friend. Don't bring small kids but teenagers are ok. Had the ribeye Diane. It was wonderful. Repeat visitor every time I'm in town. Highly recommended

Rosebud on Rush--the food was pretty good, family style Italian. We had the grilled Calamari and it was very good, spicy yet not overwhelming. The veal was good as well, just to over the top for what it cost.

Visiting Rosebud while in Chicago is a must. This was a business dinner. Service was awesome, food is always very good. We started with the grilled Calamari....4-5 large pieces, larges I ever eaten, easy to cut and eat. for my dinner I ordered one of the specials "Zuppa de mari w/pasta in the middle" It was delicious after dinner we... The ambiance itself is great; probably as authentic as Italian can get. We were seated fairly quickly but the entire top floor was very crowded. The waiters and waitresses were inching their way between tables and you had to ask your neighbor to scoot over if you needed to go to the bathroom. That crowded. The service was great, servers...
