We stopped in for drinks and appetizers. We would have eaten dinner but the menu was posted on a chalkboard across the restaurant with dark lighting. We ended up ordering two beers and an appetizer to start. Beers came out and we enjoyed ourselves although uncomfortable sitting at a picnic table. Ordered the second appetizer and another round of beers.... More

Prepare to be insulted. If you have never been here, its a ton of fun with rude wait staff and embarrassing hats. The food is average bar food, but you are paying for the fun. Unfortunately, we had a waitress who never did hats---for ANY of her tables! We had to ask for one which is usually a no no... More

Well, lets start off by saying this is a bar. You go here to drink, party, definitely don't go here to eat a good value meal. The menu is limited (didn't even have burgers) & overpriced. We got the 1/2 chicken which is served right onto the table...no plates...just white butcher paper. It was the smallest 1/2 chicken we ever... More

Until this visit I had never been to a DLR and I will never go back. The service was terrible and the bartender recommended the absolute worst meal I ever ate. I have no idea what any one sees in this place. First class yuck!

Loud and crazy sums up Dick's the best. The food is overpriced for the flavor but this isn't a place to go to eat...you go there to party!

Stopped here for a quick lunch after flying into Chicago. It was "stupid" fun... Patrons were wearing funny hats this particular day. I don't know if that was common place, but it was fun. The food was typical bar food and not for those who are watching their weight :) We sat on the patio which was a bonus to... More

Food was good, service was fun. Had a great time. One of the more affordable places to eat in that area I recommend the ribs and chicken.

So...you walk in and it's like they are selling you the absolute best time of your life...and yes there is some fun to be had with the ridiculous hats and all...but I came to eat. The food is typical roadhouse but to be quite honest, it was pretty good. It certainly wash't the culinary highlight of our trip to Chicago,... More

Be prepared for wait staff who dish it out verbally (which is the premise for this restaurant). If you aren't expecting that, you will either love it or hate it. We loved it! Our paper hats, complete with rude notation on it, were a funny addition to the experience. The food and drinks were good and plentiful. You can purchase... More
