"Our lager which art in barrels.." (Etc.) Really Elephant & Castle?.. I'm sure there are more people that are offended by this. Ambience is very nice, although I expected a little more English influence. The draught beer must have been de-draughted because. It didn't taste like draught beer. Pity but can happen. Fish and chips were pretty good but gave... More

The service was extremely friendly, the atmosphere is really cool, you almost think you're in a pub in England. Had the Scotch Egg to start, ORDER IT NOW, INSANE GOOD! Finished with the Bangers and Mash and washed it all down with Smithwick's on draft. Everything was great!

Don't order a Bloody Mary! It was so spicy, I sent it back and asked them to make me one not spicy. I like spicy, but this was over the top. The second one was no different and everyone at the table tried it and agreed. We were a group of 8, and some of us arrived early and ate... More

My sister and I ate here before a show at the Chicago Theater mainly because of location and also the appeal of the English pub theme. She got the fish & chips and I got the stuffed yorkshire pudding and we both had lemonade to drink for a total of about $35. Both were good but not great. The beef,... More

The menu was simple to read. The lighting in was a little too dark for me, but it was a good relaxing place to eat.

Check your bills for double charges. A bit rude and attitude, even when you're buying a $20 glass of scotch.

We had been to another Elephant and Castle and liked it. So when we were in need of a place to get something relatively quickly after hours in the Loop, we tried this location. While it was OK, it was not as good as the Huron location. Most noticeably, the food was WAY too salty. My wife is normally very... More

We stayed at Club Quarter's for 5 nights during Thanksgiving holiday and ate at this place a couple of times since the location's conveniently right by the hotel. The first time we ate was lunch time, I had the slum dog and my daughter had one of the flavored French fries and both were delicious, our server Joel was amazing.... More

This is a good place to grab a quick pint or lunch, service is pretty darn good and the ambiance is on par with the pub feel. Food is typical pub type fare. The staff is very accommodating and super helpful. All in all, a good place to stop if you want a break or to grab a bite. Super... More

Bartender did a fantastic job! Best vodka tonic I've ever had ... Service was great! We got our food right away which was perfect because we were on a time crunch to make it to a show. I had the butter chicken and my husband had the fish and chips and we both thought they were very good. I was... More
