Warm and inviting spot for a chilly night in Chicago. Staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome on an otherwise lonely business trip. Good list of English beers as well as local craft brews. Seasonal menu included a fantastic lamb shank. Would definitely go back. Elephant & Castle is a chain, I used to frequent the one in... More

This place is very charming and inviting. It looked cozy on a cold day, so we decided to stop. Expect to wait, but not long. They send you a text to tell you when your table is ready. They have a nice bar in there too if you were just looking to grab drinks and apps. The staff is really... More

In a part of Chicago that seems quite dead at 6 pm on a Saturday night - most everything was shut down. It's not an "Irish pub" - more English (named after the south London neighbourhood). Great to find it - was recommended by a student who we stopped in the street. Good beer selection on tap - combination of... More

This Irish pub is within reasonable walking distance from the Hyatt Regency convention complex, and provides a break from the more standard convention-center type pickings available right by the center. The focus is on beer (and I'm not a drinker), but the food is still quite good and has at least a partial Irish theme to it (though you'll also... More

Excellent place to stay for a lunch or happy hour. There is a good variety of beers and it is near the Skydeck, I found this place occasionally walking to the Millenium park but the tripadvisor seal in front of the restaurant make me and my friends stop for a beer. Great burguers and the fish & chips was really... More

We made the mistake of stopping here for brunch while we waited to check in to our nearby hotel on a Saturday morning. The food was not good. The poached eggs on the benedict were nearly raw, and the potatoes were completely without seasoning and barely cooked. My husband had eggs, toast, bacon and potatoes---while his eggs were cooked, one... More

Married a Brit and we always end up in a pub. Good variety of whiskies, clean, British pub atmosphere. Just had a couple of ciders and beer but it was a great place to stop in. Had dinner elsewhere

Had some of the worst buffalo chicken wings I've ever had. The bones were dark and the chicken was dry. The bleu cheese dressing tasted outdated. My husband had the fish tacos which was some type of ground protein. Not sure what it was, but he said it tasted okay. Will not be going back anytime soon.

This is a pretty yummy place! We had the pleasure of coming here for lunch and dinner recently. Their food is very good, beer selection is also very good. Our friends are vegetarians, and they were well catered for, and were our English friends – who enjoyed the Shepherd’s pie! We had Rueben’s and burgers on the times we visited.... More
