Went to see a show at the Chicago Theatre and stopped here after for a late dinner. Good service, solid pub fare and good beer list. Convenient and reasonable - we'd go again on a show night.

Went in to the E Huron location to order a meal to take to room after a long day of travel. Placed order with hostess who passed it to the bartender who tossed it on the counter and that's where the process stopped. After about 5 min someone stopped inquired and rescued my order and fast tracked it through. Food... More

Stopped by here at random when we were looking for some place to have dinner after a long day of doing touristy stuff in downtown Chicago. Really enjoyed it and the ambience was nice.

I have eaten here in the past and was well pleased. I was not disappointed this time either. I had the Steak and Mushroom Pie and it was probably the best that I have ever eaten. My husband had the fish and chips and was very pleased (kudos since he is very picky).

First time in Chicago and I was lost! Got off the L-train but couldn't get my sense of direction. My GPS on my phone was also acting up. We were hungry and stumbled upon this restaurant. Food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Our waitress ended up giving me excellent directions to our next location!

I only went into this pub because I didn't have time to look for anything else, It was the first one I came to on leaving the hotel and it was getting late. From the outside it looked quite inviting and the service seemed snappy enough, the beer was okay (all American beer seems to taste more or less the... More

We decided to stop in to check out this pub we had read about on Tripadvisor since we were in the area - pleasant stop. Sunday afternoon - Sept. 28. Suprisingly quiet - nice decor. Good wait staff. Had a Guiness - always delicious, of course. Also shared a Slum Dog with my wife. Now, neither one of us are... More

We walked in Elephant and Castle looking for a place to watch the LSU/Auburn football game. The hostess was willing to change the channel on one of the TVs to accommodate us, but we did still have to crane our necks to see it. We had couple drinks (decent) and the fried pickle appetizer, a basic Caesar salad, and onion... More

We went for lunch after a morning of shopping. Great decision- Entrees ordered were bacon burger without the bun, fish and chips and a salmon sandwich. Mashed potatoes, OH mY!!! All were seasoned to perfection. I don't believe you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Initially there was a wait, however once seated, service was quick. I had... More

Elephant & Castle may be a little touristy located inside the Loop but we had a very enjoyable meal for a family of four. I especially liked my chicken pot pie; the dough was light, airy and flaky, while the ingredients were tasty although a little soupy for my tastes. I ordered an IPA that was more like a red... More
