Good Food, Good Service.

My partner and I stopped here on a Saturday around 8:00 p.m. I've heard how busy this place is before and after shows (it's near The Goodman Theatre and others in the area), but it was pretty calm when we went, due to showtimes having already started. I started off with a Strawberry Pisco Sour... read more

I really enjoy this place and we've been coming here for years. I'm finally remembering to review! It's always busy right before a show and yesterday (Sunday) was no exception, but we were able to find seats for the 4 of us in the bar. Just had a couple of wines and shared an appetizer this time, but we have... More

Pre-theater dining. Attached to The Goodman Theatre, so it's a no brainer. Petterino's staff understand timing with theater goers. Waite staff spot on. Friendly, professional. Meal was not rushed and everything was perfect.

The menu is not extraordinary, but the food is reliable and the place has an atmosphere a bit like Sardi's. ie tried true and for the theatre. red leather booths etc. The wine list is good and has a lot of choices for a single glass. You can eat at the bar, which is a choice when you have no... More

I brought my nieces and their boyfriends here for dinner before seeing the evening performance of The Book of Mormon. The location is good as it is centrally placed for most of the downtown theaters. The atmosphere is friendly, the food is very good (lots of choices, including a three course prix fixe option). Although the restaurant gets very busy,... More

If you want great service, fantastic drinks and awesome food and not be rushed out of place to give up your table then please try this place and you will not regret it at all. But you must make reservations way out for you date night because this place is very popular around the theatre district! We love going here... More

Located in the theater district so it is a great place after a show. Eggplant Bruschetta, Chopped Steak and Tuna Salad were all excellent choices. Highly recommended and will definitely return. Waitstaff is very attentive and made us feel welcomed.

If you are heading downtown for a concert or a play this is the place to eat. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Their peppermint ice cream/hot fudge dessert is to die for! We have had many items off of their menu and all have been excellent. Good service with attentive wait staff too. We've always been able to make reservations... More

Slipped in with a family of 4, just as the theatre crowd was moving out. A little chaotic, but service was still excellent. Really enjoyed conversing with the waiter, and looking at the celebrity carcatures on the walls. Food was also very good - steaks, mostly. Would highly recommend the spinach gnocci. Oh, and the desserts. Yum!
