Visited this restaurant w my 22 year old son and my wife, all 3 of us serious foodies. Incredible presentation and service. Shelly our server was a pleasure. Three fish preparations were terrific, especially the stripped bass. Desert was sumptuous. Wine list was excellent with many reasonable choices. An expensive restaurant but it did not disappoint !

Lived in Chicago all my life. Have had the good fortune to eat at the best restaurants Chicago has to offer. My wife & I were looking forward to dining @ NAHA with great anticipation due to its notoriety. We were sorely disappointed. The service was very tactful and attentive. The food was average. We understand that fine meals can... More

Loved that this is not a chain restaurant. Food is made fresh, never frozen from local ingredients. Smaller portions, but taste and presentation is spectacular

Let's start with the positives: the atmosphere is lovely and the food is good... if not a bit overdone. I ordered oysters to start. They came out with tarragon and a champagne sorbet. Really? Then I had salmon with lobster. While it was prepared quite nicely, the lobster was small and underwhelming. Unfortunately, the unpleasant service more than ruined any... More

Foie gras tarte tartiine, venison with salty pol belly, quails - whats not to like, especially when cooked to perfection with intense reductions for sauces, interesting multi-component dishes and impeccable service. A top-hitting restaurant providing good VFM at the top end of pricing.

We enjoyed very much this dinner for a group of 14 celebrating a happy event for one of our colleagues! We were seated around a large rectangular table enjoying a view of the restaurant and the outside. We had to choose from a preset menu that had interesting options for everyone. I was very happy with my selection: scallops, greek... More

Went to this restaurant during the National Restaurant Assoc. trade show. Based on Michelin rating figured it should be an amazing experience - no dice! Arrogant waiter to boot ! Previous hype must have gone to their head - too bad!

We went to several restaurants in Chicago and were surprised how many had patrons come in dressed "too casual". We wanted a nice fine dining experience and got exactley what we wanted at NaHa. We were seated quickly and on time. The wine list was very good and extensive, The menu was not large but that's because the dishes change... More

We had dinner at Naha on May 9, 2014. It was the best meal of four we had on our stay in Chicago. It was also the most expensive. Everything we ordered was "mmmm" inspiring with particular cudos to the Duck breast and foie gras entree I enjoyed. We could not have asked for better food and the service was... More

Naha is a gourmet paradise with great service. Tonight I had forest mushroom soup with tasty add-ins, a super clam and pasta dish, and a delicious blueberry sorbet. The menu has something for everyone with unusual but very tasty parings of ingredients. It's no surprise they have a James Beard Award!
