The food is acceptable, but not exceptional. The staff on my 2 visits (same waiter each time) seems to show an aire of indifference. I was given a basket of bread, after my entrée arrived. The table next to me received their bread before their salad. This is a small detail, but something that a out of town visitor notices.... More

We come here every time we come to Chicago, and that's been upwards of 20 years, so they've been doing something right, and continue to do so. We ordered a Small (2-3 person) pizza and a pitcher of Revolution Eugene Porter. Service was attentive and efficient, and since we were the only people in the restaurant, that was to be... More

Stayed at Club Quarters for a recent weekend. After coming into town early Friday evening on the train, and taking a short walk on Michigan, decided to just go back to the hotel for a late pizza. The restaurant is not very big and was very busy, so we had a short wait around 9 p.m. The pizza was basic... More

The staff was very friendly and interested in me getting quality service at all time. The waiter made great eye contact when asked information about the menu. It showed how confident he was about the menu. Will eat there again.

I went there with colleagues for a last minute dinner. They immediatly gave us a table and we got started right away with a glass of water and a beer. The starters (Calamares, bruscetta and portabello mushroom) which we shared arrived quite fast as well and was delicious. The veggie pasta with mushrooms I ordered was very nice, with a... More

I ate here four times during my stay at Club Quarters and the food experience differed quite a bit. The breakfasts (2) were filling and tasted pretty good. I was less than impressed with the pizza and I thought the steak was a complete waste of 30.00 bucks. The meat was bland and tasted like it had been frozen and... More

A small Italian restaurant with acceptable pasta dishes such as penne with ragu, a daily risotto which was well prepared, rice just right level of slight crunch, salads, pizza, usual fare. Parmesan in a not so fresh shaker, no vast pepper mills in evidence! The wine list offers by the glass: a poorly balanced Californian pinot noir: cabernet sauvignon and... More

If you are going to Chicago, you must have Chicago Pizza. This is a great place in a convenient location to do just that. Chicago Pizza is a deep dish pizza with a full filling. It looks like a true pie. The locals refer to it as a stuffed pizza. When we entered the restaurant on this occasion, we had... More

Located in the Wacker Club, this small Italian restaurant has a nice, old-world vibe and the food is good. Prices are reasonable and the wine selection good. Would stop in again if I'm in the area.

The food was fine. I had minestrone and a salad with pears and candied pecans. The soup was as lackluster as minestrone usually is, bless its heart; the salad was good. A friend had the meatballs, which were meatballs, and two friends had the mussels, which were--mostly--tough. These things, however, would not have been enough to cause a negative review,... More
