Good Italian food w/ great service.

We had a group of 8 ladies (ages 12 thru 68) in Chicago for the Taylor Swift concert. We were staying in a nearby hotel and wanted to walk somewhere to eat before getting ready for the concert. Using TripAdvisor we selected Italian food and this came up w/ good reviews and close to our hotel. We... read more

I am really being nice to say average, but I saw many people eating at Bell's and they all seemed to enjoy the food, However, I ordered Veal Scallopini, and it was very different from the dish I usually get. (Yes, I know this dish varies from region to region in Italy.). This scallopini lwas tghe lemon, capers version. but... More

We learned about this place from a local who sat next to us at another bar. We went their for lunch the day after we learned about it and were very happy. I got the crispy polenta with mushroom ragu - it was just lovely and I could tell it was homemade. My husband got a pizza and it looked... More

I've been to other locations eat-in and carry-out. Most recent visit was my first time at this location for carry-out to take the pizza to Millennium Park. Pizza was ready in 45 minutes as they said it would be. Great sauce, cheese, crust. Lots going on in the area of the restaurant. Right near Michigan Avenue and the river. Might... More

Nice place to sit and people watch while your deep dish cooks. Pizza was good, sausage was delish and the pizza sauce was fresh and bright. But, the service was very poor and servers were extremely inattentive. Ok place if you have plenty of time to kill.

What a treat! We enjoyed a delicious deep dish pizza outside this little restaurant on E Wacker, next to the Wyndham. While waiting for it to be served we shared a nice salad and a craft beer...a pear hard cider. The wait staff was friendly and attentive and well-versed in the menu. We hope to repeat this dining experience again... More

We had reservations for the evening of 7/4. Even with reservations, we were only one of 5 tables full in the entire restaurant. One table was a large party but they had another server. We waited 20 minutes for our server to come to our table to even take our drink order. It required us going to the hostess to... More

Had the Beet and Burrata salad, and had them add tuna to it. Beets were substaintial size, but cooked very well. Tuna was outstanding. Crusty and salty on outside, but ordered it rare it it came to perfection as it was lighly seared, making the fish fleshy - which I think is ideal. They will deliver to restaurants as well

A colleague and I visited the Wacker location and sat outside - great view of the "Jetson"-like residential towers. We were really worried though because about 100+ people filed in for a private party just ahead of us, but the waiter assured us he'd look out for us, and he did! He recommended an appetizer combo - the mussels and... More

The stuffed pizza is pretty good but in a city known for stuffed pizza it has to be. The atmosphere is nice and location right off Michigan avenue near the river it has all the right elements which makes you wonder why the restaurant was largely empty. The answer I believe is service. Although the waiter was nice it took... More
