Delicious!

Very, very busy...we went on a week day at 1:30 hoping to miss the lunch crowd since they close at 2:30...nope, we received a pager and an hour wait. We ended up eating at the bar. Margaritas: amazing! Chocolate pecan pie: awesome!

We have been talking about going here for many years. The meal and experience was worth the wait! We cannot wait to go back. Service was great and servers were very attentive. Our meals were nothing short of amazing. From the ceviche sample appetizer to the garlic mushroom tacos..the margaritas were suburb. Home made gin and tonic=yum!! Suckling pig special,... More

This is a well reviewed restaurant and it did not disappoint. Margaritas and the guacamole were to die for. Every dish we were served was excellent. My friend is a big fan of hot chills. She did not think she could ever find a place that would give her a hot sauce that could defeat her. Well. Frontera Grill had... More

My husband had been here years ago, and raved about the food. We were both very excited about eating here, but we both left disappointed. We started off with the oysters and ceviche platter. The oysters were fresh and we enjoyed them. The ceviche was decent as well. The tuna cocktail really could have benefited from a pop of citrus.... More

What a special treat-We dined as a group in "the Library" test kitchen. A young, local, guest chef plated course after course of fantastic freshly prepared super tasty dinner and narrated each course. The chef, a young man, really knew his stuff and treated us to a delicious Mole, fois gras, duck, and expertly prepared veggies, guacamole and roasted chile... More

As native Oklahomans, my mom and I were excited to check out Rick Bayless' restaurants on our November 2014 trip to Chicago. Frontera was so fantastic we snuck in a second trip before we left town. We have pretty high standards for Mexican food, and Frontera did not disappoint. I loved the ceviche, the mole, and the out of this... More

We are Top Chef fans and this had been on our bucket list. Did not disappoint. A lot of people on here are complaining about the drink sizes/prices but I did not find them inappropriate. It's a city, you pay city prices. Had some sort of mezcal grapefruit concoction and Husband had cucumber, spicy, tequila one. Then I had blue... More

I was shocked to pay $12 for a VERY small Margarita. However, it might have been the best Margarita in my life. Food was outstanding. This is a Chicago MUST TRY location.
