The foods is second to none. The service is very good. I tried the one of their pulled pork dishes and I wassimply blown away. The one dish that everybody was recommending was the chicken on a waffle so that is what I will try next time. The one thing to improve would be some music ambiance. At one point... More

We paid over $30 to park and would do it again for the opportunity to have lunch at Heaven on Seven. Wonderful selection of Cajun/creole food as well as American food for those whose taste buds are not yet burned to a crisp. The etouffee of the day was a LARGE portion with wonderful stuff in it. There are dozens... More

I hadn't been to Heaven on Seven in a long, long time but jumped at the chance to go recently. After finally getting to the right location (more on that in a minute) it was all as I remembered. From the wall covered with hot sauces to the dozen hot sauce choices on our table to the wonderful menu and... More

My wife has been looking forward to our visit here for a month. The cornbread and honey butter is awesome. My wife had the red beans and rice which was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken breast with mashed potatoes, steamed veggies and cream gravy. Add a little of the jump up and kiss me hot sauce and you may... More

At first glance we were excited - a whole wall of different hot sauces available, and many of them on the tables. At second glance, the second wall - gallon jugs of mayonnaise and kero syrup. And trust me, they're using both in almost everything on the menu. Fat laden, carb laden, sugar laden, and as much fried as they... More

I cannot help but agree with the other reviewers. I had the 1 - 2 - 3 trio of soups. Gumbo, cream of chicken and turtle which I love. Starter portions of red beans & rice and crab cakes. More than enough for me!! Good quality, very attentive staff and I didn't feel rushed which I have found in some... More

We invited a friend and his family who were visiting Chicago to have lunch on a Saturday. We were not disappointed.

This was my third time coming to Heaven on Seven. I was with my kids and my mother this time, so it was a new location for my son and mother. They both like spicy food. When you enter you will be greeted by a wall of hot sauces. The menu has a lot of variety. Everyone had the D-Soul... More

This is one of our go-to-spots in Chicago, once again they did not disappoint. My husband ordered the jambalaya and I ordered the salmon blue plate special, we both had the gumbo, yummy! Be sure to park in the "Ohio" parking garage, Seven and the theater validate!
