We were on our way to the West Loop and stopped in for a quick bite. The kitchen was nice enough to split both the frisée salad and the pot pie for us & the food came out quickly. Both dishes were delicious. We sat at the bar where service was not that great, therefore I did not give this... More

Chicago is filled with an abundance of wonderful restaurants. I am sorry to say this is not one of them. The food is good and the service is acceptable. They couldn't fine the first bottle of wine we ordered and it only took 30 minutes to find the second. It is better than a lot of places you could stop... More

This restaurant is near many huge hotels by both Michigan Ave. and the Loop but menu looked interesting so in we went. My manhattan on the rocks (actually, on the rock as there was just 1 huge cube in the drink) was fabulous. Nice way to start a vacation. I ordered a pork chop, which was actually to die for.... More

Breakfast menu was pretty ordinary but food ok. Prices were high for quantity of food. Server never welcomed nor cracked a smile.

Nice atmosphere, classy looking place right around the corner from The River Hotel, where we stayed. Loved the homemade blueberry jam with whole blueberries.

Wonderful food and great service. The deviled eggs were superb as was the yellow tomato gazpacho soup. The sauce on the chicken dish as well as the veggies and meat was really lovely. Drinks were very well done and everything was served with an interesting flair.

This place is in the heart of downtown a few blocks for The lake. I went here around 11:30 and menu was a small combination of breakfast and lunch. Good food and presentations are great. Order the Chicago bloodymary !!!

Small but respectable selection of local microbrews. Very tasty small plates for snacks. We particularly enjoyed the huckleberry preserves and local honey served alongside the charcuterie. Nice touch!

We had a fairly good experience at this restaurant when we went there for brunch, and then again for dinner (roast chicken with vegetables - hard to go wrong). But on the third occasion, the food was just terrible. My husband's steak was tough and inedible and the Lamb Pappardelle was dreadful. The pasta sauce contained a very few of... More

I was waiting for a colleague to get out of a meeting and sat at SWK for a glass of wine and a small appetizer. I had the Arugula; I love seafood! So this was a great choice! I also ordered the Yellow Tomato Gazpacho which I didn't care for much. Thus, my server took off the bill. She didn't... More
