The food is delicious and the service fantastic, but the menu feels categorized and limited. The entree section of the menu basically has one dish per protein source. I had the lamb pasta (delicious) and, since I was staying in the hotel, a steak with mashed potatos and green beans via room service (tender, melt-in-your-mouth). Bottom line: good for the... More

Yum. Both cocktails and food were great. Sitting at the bar, I had one of the seasonal cocktails - porch swing - and then had Lovers carved heart which was incredibly smooth and tasty. Food: venison chili with habanero cornbread "donuts" - delicious!! Deviled eggs - as delicious as I remembered from my last visit. I wasn't sure about dessert,... More

Another super place we visited for breakfast just across the corner from the Wyndham Great Riverfront Hotel. Very spacious and modern furnishing; food was very good and a great selection. Our waiter Amir was very helpful with the menu and the cost is in a medium range but again we will be back.

The menu looked really intriguing and different, but everything was a little off. I ordered the chicken with a black bean succotash. The succotash was sooooo salty. When I told the waiter, he returned with a brown rice as a substitute. So I paid $30 for a piece of chicken with brown rice. My husband and I split a side... More

Uninventive and overpriced brunch menu. Coffee is pretty bad and pricey. Poor service, not very cleanly. Juevos rancheros are OK but not worth the money

The space here is nice and good for conversations, the multi level setting seems to cut down on background noise. The service was very good but the food left much to be desired. The Deviled Eggs app was good and somewhat unique. My lunch dish however was not great. I had the Prime Rib sandwich which seemed like Steak-ums on... More

We ate at the South Water Kitchen while in Chicago...mostly because they were the only ones with room for 18 of us. I decided on the Pappardelle meal for dinner. I was told that they were out of that option but that they had a nice Penne Pasta with chicken dinner as a substitute. Well, I love Penne pasta and... More

This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city.
