No trip to chicago is complete without a trip to lous

We asked around and everyone we spoke to told us to go to Lou malnatis for deep dish pizza. We were not disappointed. Great salad too whilst we waited. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere great. Just don't try and walk in on a friday!

We were tired from our day at the museum of science and industry, and we wanted something easy and that can be delivered to our hotel. Lou Malnati's was the choice and are we happy we picked this place. The delivery was fast, the pizza was still hot, they brought us plates and plastic utensils, and the pizza was delicious.... More

You can't go wrong with pizza. A friend of ours raved about this place and their deep dish pizza, which I tried and wasn't impressed. It wasn't aweful, but I have definitely had better pizza.

Because I was visiting Chicago for the first time, trying authentic deep dish pizza was a must. I did some research and found Lou Malnati's recommended on several blogs. I was a little hesitant because it is a chain, but the food lived up to the hype. Don't let the 45 minute cooking time deter you. It's worth the wait.

They are commonly known as the makers of the best deep-dish pizza in Chicago. I'm not sure if they are the best but definitely are something you should try. Place gets crowded at dinner time so keep calm. You might end up waiting for 45 minutes for a table but you can order your pizza once your name is on... More

We had a great lunch at Lou's - we could not eat Dinner as we were still full. Its our first trip to Chicago and our first deep dish Pizza and we love our Pizza and this was great. Also great to see one of my favs characters from film - Roy Hobb's knights top on the wall. Love it... More

I know a lot of people who like Lou Malnati's pizza, but I just don't understand that. The first basic ingredient of a good crust is absolutely lacking in their pizzas. The rest of it isn't impressive either. There are many other good pizzerias in Chicago -- skip this one.

This was undoubtedly the best deep dish pizza we have ever had! Coming from the UK we ordered a medium sized pizza between 2 of us, not wanting to leave still hungry. We could not finish it and had to take some home in a box! Good beers on tap, too.

The butter crust is amazing. All of the pizzas are delicious, but be prepared to wait to get a table and wait for your food. Lots of families and groups raising the noise level somewhat high. Not a place for an intimate evening or serious conversations.

First dinner I get when I go to Chicago. It is the best deep dish pizza anywhere. Whole family loves malnati's.
