Deep Dish Supreme

I personally think this is the best deep dish pizza in Chicago. I love bringing out of towners or newbees here. They always love it. They also have a spinach salad that is also incredible. I had a piece of their deep dish veggie version and thought it was very good. I still can't get enough of the... read more

In 1983 I had my first taste of Lou Malnati's deep dish pizza and have trumpeted its superiority over competitors Giordano's and Gino's ever since. After this visit, my opinion has changed. The pizza was down right mediocre to bad. Maybe the kitchen staff had a bad night, I don't know. What I do know is that I had built... More

We waited for over an hour to get served, along with about 100 other patrons. The place was PACKED! The selection of pizza is limited, but I guess that is part of the charm. The staff were super friendly and patient considering the mob of people there. They even brought out free mini pizza slices to keep us fed while... More

instead of doing a 2 hours line to eat at another Chicago deep pizza, better go to Lou Malnati's, try the Malnatis salad and then the butter crust pizza. You will return!

We traveled to Chicago from Philly and the first meal we had was at Lou Malnati for Chicago deep dish pizza. Did we like it... Yes. The pizza crust was buttery, different from what you would expect for pizza and the toppings... We got sausage which covers the entire top with cheese and Roma tomatoes. The sausage comes out a... My favorite pizza at Lou Malnati's is the deep dish sausage. It is just fabulous. Many of our sports banquets were hosted here and everything goes flawless. The staff is friendly and eager to help and their food has never disappointed.

We were recommended this restaurant by the Bellman Perry at the Talbot Hotel, as we wanted some authentic deep dish Chicago Pizza. All I can say is one thing, absolutely the best pizza I have ever had, and I have had a lot of pizza in my day! Try the Malnati Classic if you have never been to this place... More

I went with my family (husband and 2 kids ages 4 and 6). We ordered a Malnati's Chicago classic and calamari appetizer. The food was delicious! There was a 30 minute wait at 5:45 on a Friday night, which was expected. We ordered the pizza while we waited, so when we were seated we ordered drinks and the appetizer. Both... More

We showed up here around 5:30pm on a Saturday and were seated right away. Thank God. I think I would have been upset if we'd waited for hours for this. I will say, the butter crust is really good. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even like pizza crust. With that said, I didn't really dig the pizza... More

Tried multiple to rated deep dishes of Chicago. Unos, Giordanos, And Ginos. This one won with their buttery crust and fresh sauce. Be prepared to wait 45 min. To cook your pizza (standard time with the deep dish) but it's worth the wait!
