Chicago Pizza Contest

After having Gino's the night before, we decided we would try out Lou Malnati's and decide which we liked better. We ordered the Lou ( as a heart shaped pizza thanks to Valentine's Day) and it was absolutely delicious. We both came to the conclusion that it beat Ginos, which is saying a lot due to... read more

If you go to Lou's, Ginos or Original Unos downtown they are filed with tourists. Did not meet any locals at any of 6 pizza places we tested out on two week stent in Bean Town. Asked my business associates and locals I met none of them go out for Deep dish pizza thin crust seems to be favored in... More

I consider myself somewhat of a pizza expert. I was a pizza cook at the renown Aurelios in South Holland Illinois in the 70s as well as Thornton, IL's Geneo's (in the 70s as well). I have been making my own pizza since (all from scratch) and all my friends rave and crave it. With that in mind I will... More

My husband and I split a house salad, which was huge, and had a small spinach deep dish pizza. The service was great, the salad wonderful (homemade dressings) and the pizza is the best I have had in Chicago!

We went here for a bachelor party as we wanted to try authentic Chicago Deep Dish. Two slices of pizza were more than enough for each of the guys at our table - two huge slices and a pint with tip worked out to $15 each! Awesome value for downtown - oh, and the pizza was delicious as well!

My wife and I had a late lunch there on a Friday afternoon. No waiting. My wife ordered the Bruschetta. Very very good. The we had the pizza which we could not eat but half of a medium. The pizza sauce was exceptionally good.

Many reviews point to Lou Manati's and it held up to the reviews. Busy Friday night where they take your name and cell number and as a when your table is ready. Very efficient .. The pizza is downright awesome ... Great experience and we will be back ..

First time eating here and it was very good. My father really enjoyed the cheese bread. Service was a little slower than what we were told but it wasn't bad.

It was delicious! We tried it first at The Taste of Chicago this summer and went to the restaurant for dinner that night. It was absolutely fabulous and close to attractions. The best Chicago style pizza I had!
