First time visiting Chicago and needed to try there pizza, of course. OMG we ordered the cheese pizza with spinach and garlic with, and I highly recommend, the butter crust. We ordered the pizza for 4 it was very large , but we managed to eat it all

PROS If you like the sauce more salty, tomato-ey, and flavorful. Then pick Lou. If you like a thinner crust. Then pick Lou. They are both good. But it depends what you want out of a pizza. My personal fave is Lou's. CONS Only downside, is the wait. We waited about 1 1/2 hrs to get this pizza. 1 hour... More

I saw Lou Malnati's recommended online and after years of going to Gino's East with my mom and dad, wanted to try something new with my husband. It was our last night in Chicago and we'd been walking all over the city, so we asked for it to be delivered. Chicago-style pizza takes longer to cook, but we were surprised... More

You have to be aware that going to this restaurant can be a wait at times. They let you pre order your pizza before you even sit down. The Chicago deep dish pizza was excellent. The restaurant was packed when we left. What I liked most was the Chicago deep dish pizza it was worth the wait. What I didn't... More

I arrived in Chicago on Sunday and was immediately thinking about having a real piece of Chicago Deep dish! I went to the front desk of my hotel and ask them who would you recommend for real chicago Deep dish? The woman immediately pulled out a menu for Lou Malrati's. I took the menu back to my room and placed... More

Great pizza. We gave it the ultimate test by not getting any topping, just a plain cheese and sauce pizza. Exceeded our expectations. We had appetizers which were good. Get there early. It can very crowded. A pizza takes about 35 minutes and it is well worth it. Tables are very tight so pack light.

I made my business associates eat at this restaurant and they were glad I did. The pizza is incredible. We had the Chicago Classic and a pepperoni. This pizza is very filling as I could only eat two slices. This is a must visit for pizza lovers like me.

We were pleased to find that they delivered to the hotel where we were staying. After visiting the city we didn't feel like going out but really wanted to have the wonderful salad from Lou Malnati's. In fact we ordered two times during our stay. The food arrived on time and was excellent as always.

Best deep dish pizza ever! We tried their classic Chicago pizza and it did not disappoint. Salad dressing was delicious too.
