We heard that this was the best pizza place in town from some locals and decided to try it out. When you get there, you can pre-order your pizza before getting your table. The Host told us that we had a 40 minute wait for our table and then a further 20 minute wait to get the pizza. He was... More

This is just matter of opinion. Crust ingredients are the key difference to me in the pizza joints in Chicago. The deep dish was ok, thin crust was really good. You must try both, don't give up on the place till you find your favorite.

I've been eating Chicago pizza for over 50 years and most of the major Chicago chains have become unreliable, except for Malnati's. On my most recent visit I had a sausage deep dish with butter crust. It was excellent. Service was efficient and professional.

Really enjoyed going to Lou's for lunch. I forgot how long it took to make these masterpieces...but no disappointment at all. Loved the pizza, scenery and service. Had some left over to redeem a lacking and dry bbq rib at House of Blues. Lou Malnati's is awesome.

First time to Chicago and deep dish cant be missed we were told. We did a lot of research on where to go for the best. Overall Lou Malnati's seemed to get more votes. It was POURING rain and we were drenched finding the place. We had a booth in the back room. Very casual simple restaurant, We ordered their... More

chicago is known for deep dish pizza. But Lou takes it to the next level. You have to experience this pizza when you come to Chicago. Take your family and your friends.

This was my first experience with deep dish pizza and it's very good. If you want deep dish pizza you need to place your order even before you are seated, which makes sense because we had to wait about 25 minutes for a table, which wasn't too bad. The service is a little slow but friendly. The garlic bread and... More

I love deep dish pizza but have never had one as good as this. I was in town on business and we heard they were the best. We had the original pie with a sausage layer, man that was awesome. The crust is perfectly crisp but not dry, thick in a good way.

I haven't tried all the Chicago deep-dish pizzas, but this was exceptional.I tried a deep dish sausage pizza with extra mushrooms on my cousin's recommendation and I had 3 slices. The crust was perfectly crunchy, the sausage delicious, the sauce exquisite. I want another one tomorrow!

This was a business trip so I was solo. I liked that I could pre-order the pizza when I got there (since it takes a long time to cook). I stood with lots of other people near the bar and had beers until I got my table. The food was so good...I had the bruschetta, which was amazing, and couldn't... More
