I know there are many who may debate me, but this Pizza is a must have every time I come to Chicago. You need to have the time to wait for the pie but its worth every minute. Service is excellent. Two locations that I have visited. The one by merchandise mart is great if you are into sport memorabilia.... More

Went there one night for dinner. The wait was around an hour on a Sunday night. They give you a choice to pre-order your pie to cut down the wait after you are seated. We did that and it worked out well for us. We got the Lou's special which if I recall had spinach, mushrooms and roma tomatoes. We... More

Nothing quite the original Lou Malnati's pizza. Consistently wondrous food and great staff. Numerous locations throughout the Windy City.

Thursday nights in summer can be busy, for sure, but we stuck out the 45 minute wait on the basis that the food would ready '10 minutes after we sat down'. 45 mins turned into 75 mins, and when we did sit down, the server said "pizzas in 30 minutes, don't know who told you 10". When the pizza did... More

We had dinner here and had the personal pan pizza and the butter crust mushroom pizza. Both were very good and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I would come here again next time I am in Chicago.

This was a very good Deep Dish Pizza and tasted better the longer it sat. It was the bomb the next morning when we reheated it for breakfast. It took FOREVER to get our pizza even though we preordered 45 minutes before we sat and then we waited over an hour for our pizzas, the waitress was really sweet and... More

I had the personal size thin crust with sausage. It was yummy. Waiter seemed upset that we didn't go for their deep dish signature pizza. I like thin crust and my grandson like thick so we opted for personal size for each of us. Place had lots of character and very family friendly. I would recommend the pizza.

Lou Malnatis was highly recommended by two different sources as having great pizza, but we were disappointed. It was bland, not tasty at all for us.

A Chicago experience is not complete without deep dish pizza. There are many restaurants offering this signature Chicago dish but few present it as delicious at such an affordable price.
