I was in Chicago recently for a legal conference being held in a large hotel. As I was taking notes in break out session, the following appeared as txt on my phone: Pizzeria Due, 619 N Wabash. Nothing else, just the name and its address. One of my clients, knowing that I was in the Windy City, had sent me... More

I have had the regular Chicago pizza places, everyone knows the regulars, but a groupon brought me into Pizzeria Due. This place is legit. Went with 3 other couples and all 8 of us left extremely happy. If I were to recommend a pizza joint for a visitor this is the place I would recommend!

Order your pizza when you arrive. We got a beer at the bar and sat outside. They called us in 20 minutes and the table was ready and a few minutes later we had our small deep dish for two, plenty. The staff was great. Their Amber Ale was a nice match to the Uno Pizza.

The atmosphere and location trump the food. The pizza was "okay," but nothing special given you're in the pizza capitol of the Midwest. Our server had some interesting mannerisms, but she was entertaining for the most part. May not be back, but not the restaurant's fault. There are too many great places in Chicago to check out if you're only... More

I liked the pizza a lot, the staff was very efficient in the line process. But the wait is long and the service is not so efficient after you are at a table.

The people at the restaurant said that the original restaurant was "Pizzeria Uno". We also had a lunch there but I found that place a little bit tiny and uncomfortable. But this place had the same food and it was more comfortable and less claustrophobic. The garlic bread was amazing and one of the best one I had. I also... More

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon after a quick tour of the city. The place was packed, but there was no wait to get it. I believe our server's name was Shonda (apologies if I spell it wrong), she was great and stayed on top of things. The pizza takes quite a while (30 to 40 minutes), but I found... More

Robyn was our server, and she was a gem. Very friendly. We got a Four Cheese and Pesto Pizza, and it was so good. Worth the 45 minute wait.

It was the worst pizza I have ever eaten, truly horrible, never again, give me a wood fired thin crust every time. Something that tastes of more than just tomatoes.

We had a group of 8 that ate at the Pizzeria Due, we all ordered two huge pizzas to share. I would rate the pizza as average. It was the thick crust and had too much tomato sauce. I would rate the pizza as average, I have had better pizza in other parts of Chicago.
