Came here first night in Chicago, because it was a few doors down from our hotel. Hostess was friendly, seated us right away. The tables were pretty crowded together, we kept bumping against the patrons at the table next to us, and against the mantle on the wall next to the table. We started with Caesar salads, which were nothing... More

This is the best pizza in Chicago - there are two restaurants close by each other Pizzeria Uno and Pizzeria Due. Be ready to stay a while - you order your pizza on entry and then wait for it to cook and to be seated. It is worth the wait!!! The staff there are super friendly!!!! and OMG the pizza... More

The Deep dish pizza is good but it cannot make up for he lack of service. After waiting to 15 minutes without a drink trying to eat a deep dish pizza I tracked down my server and asked for a drink 15 minutes later and nothing. Have you ever tried to eat Chicago deep dish without a drink? By that... More

We enjoyed our first real deep dish pizza with all the cheese and sauce. The crust was unique as it was crumbly but had a lot of flavor. One slice can make a meal since it was so thick.

Good experience as is the original Pizzeria Uno around the corner. Original Chicago style deep dish pizza, good bar and wine selections, funky atmosphere and good service.

Decided to eat here after the lonely planet described it as one of the holy trinity of pizza haunts. Beginning to wonder who is writing these books and wish I'd looked on here first. The notion of being told you will have to wait 25-45 minutes for your meal does seem to be a recurring and familiar theme...we were told... More

I arrived in Chicago rather late and was beginning to despair of the dining options in the area when I came across Pizzeria Due. I'm very glad I did. Yes, the pizza takes a while to cook, but that is because it is proper food made from authentic ingredients, and it's delicious (and very filling - it will be Chicago-style... More

Service was slow. It took 25 minutes to get a lemonade and a water. It took 40 minutes to get a salad. We ordered a small pizza. We got and were charged for a medium which was too much to eat. The pizza was undercooked and was a runny mess. The waitress wouldn't adjust the bill. We had to call... More

The deep dish pizza is excellent. We had to wait almost an hour for it which was not satisfactory especially since they told us it would be 30 to 35 minutes. We knew going into the place that we were going to have to wait for the pizza but one hour was too much.
