We have been here many times to dine and always had a wonderful experience. This time was very different. We had a reservation booked before a show that evening at the Chicago theater. We did inform them of this when we arrived and were told that it would be no problem. We ordered very quickly to give them plenty of... More

The Bar at the Atwoid features a huge mirror, wood paneling and a lively atmosphere. Ray, the evening bartender is super quick, cheerful and inventive. Great place to stop in for a warm-up drink if you're visiting the Loop at Christmas-time.

I have been here a few times before with my husband for dinner and we have had wonderful experiences. Yesterday I went for brunch with my five year old daughter. We were going to see a play downtown and I thought this would be a great place to eat beforehand. I was so excited that they had a wonderful kid's... More

My favorite aspect of the Atwood is the row of loveseats that line the windows. They're wonderful, private spots for a date. They serve equally well for a business meeting. The entire vibe of the Atwood is refined and civilized. The food is very good and the service it high-end. The location is a little hectic so plan on using... More

No complaints. This was a lovely place to eat. The food was beautiful and delicious and reasonably priced. The decor was classy and the wait staff were polite and knowledgeable. I loved the brussel sprouts!

I have to say breakfast is my favourite meal of the day and the Atwood Cafe hit the spot. First off, the atmosphere was like a scene out of The Great Gatsby, lots of character as well windows facing the street - good people watching. The server was very friendly. I ordered the egg white frittata - it was a... More

Had dinner here because I'm staying in the hotel. Overall the dinner was great but the gnocchi was far beyond my expectations. The mix of flavors was wonderful! One of the most inventive entrees I've had recently.

My wife and I ate at the Atwood last week on a Thursday night, and the place was packed - always a good sign. We had made a reservation, and we had to wait 10-15 minutes for our table. We were seated at a lovely window table, and from that point we were treated to the best service we've had... More

We had Sunday brunch here and all I can say is, wow! Great food, service and atmosphere. We went around 12:30 and it was not that crowded and got a table right away. I will tell everyone to visit here.

Our second visit in as many years. An absolutely delightful lunch and still easy on the cash box. A classy and classic place with a welcoming atmosphere. Pleasant seating arrangement. Fast order-taking and fast delivery by genuinely smiling waitress (Noreen.) Outstanding food, comes hot. Sign of a good kitchen. 1) Atwood Omelet ($14) made of probably 3 eggs with the... More
