Had lunch here prior to a play at the Goodman Theater around the corner. My scallops and my wife's sea bass were both excellent. More

The food and service were amazing. My only negative comment is relating to our reception. The person seating us was absolutely unfriendly, I do not why we were given possibly the worst table in the place when there were many better tables available (we did have reservation)', but how unattentive to be handed a menu upside down - if that... We visit Chicago often as a fun and easy get away. We like to get in at least one new restaurant each time. Catch 35 had been on our list and this time we managed to get a reservation on a Friday night. Actually the restaurant was suprisingly not busy and most surprisingly the food did not live up to... From walking in to this restaurant to leaving everything was perfect! The service, the food, the ambiance, everything. This is our 3rd time going over the years and will most definitely go back and have recommended it to many of our seafood loving friends. More

We stopped by on Sunday late afternoon for appetizers. We got there shortly before they opened and were allowed to stay and sit by the bar and wait for them to open. We ordered the oysters on the half shell, baked oysters, shrimp cocktail and callamari. The food was great! They even brought us a bread basket with warm bread... More

I have lived in this city for 40 years and am constantly surprised by the world-class quality of our restaurants. Catch 35 has been comfortably tucked in on the first floor of the Leo Burnett building since it was erected. I think the reason for its longevity has to do with two essentials: good food and good service. The menu... More

We arrived one evening without a reservation, and we were given a table near the bar and the jazz group. The table waas not very comfortable for dinner, but the music was good. The seafood dinner was excellent (shrimp & crab bisque, fish & chips, Lake Superior whitefish), and I tasted for the first time a great local ale (312... More
