Great food, wine and service

My husband and I enjoyed a great meal here of sea bass and filet medallions. The waitress had excellent recommendations for the wine and dessert. We trusted her and were very happy! Will definitely return.

The waitstaff is amazing as is the ambiance. I had two fabulous appetizers, a salad and a glass of wine. All were served with time in between so I didn't feel rushed and was able to enjoy leisurely. When in Chicago, check it out!

We arrived a few minutes before they were seating customers; promptly at 5:00, we were shown to a nice booth on the second level (of three). Gave us a few minutes to look at the restaurant which is quite nice, clean, modern, subdued lighting. Very pleasant. Our waiter appeared very shortly for our drink order. The Gin & Tonic was... Three colleagues and I dined here last night for a business dinner. The menu is varied and excellent, and the food was very good. Unfortunately, the waitress spilled - or to be more accurate launched - a glass of wine that drenched the shirt, sportcoat and pants of two of us. The waitress was apologetic. The manager eventually came over... More

We made a reservation at the last minute and were very happy with this restaurant. No jacket needed for men, but it has an upscale vibe. Our waiter was Very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine and even gave us a free desert when our food was held up (not really for long). We'll go back

Great Seafood restaurant in the heart of the city. We had a mixed platter of starters, soups, salad and fish main courses. All was excellent, soup was so-so. Their signature fish dish is Sea Bass Hawaiian Style. I could definitely recommend.

We had the fixed price $35/person and her yellowfin/ avocado / pistachio was sweet...And suhweet! My blackened salmon was perfect. White rice was meh. The veggies were ok. But the sticky toffee. The pecan pie. 10. Been a good while since that was done exactly right I want to marry the dessert maker tomorrow and hire Jenny Craig simultaneously. We... More

We ordered the halibut and it was excellent. The service not that excellent. It took time before we could order, and when we did not want any dessert, it looked like she wanted us to leave as quick as possible.

Went to Catch 35 before catching a concert at the Chicago/State Theatre. The food was good, I had the shrimp cocktail, then mussels and creamed spinach for dinner. Everything was delicious, the plating was dated, i.e. shrimp was served on lettuce leaves, spinach in a plain bowl. I like my cocktail sauce extra hot so I asked for extra horseradish... More

We are staying at the hotel next door and our concierge recommended this restaurant. We were able to grab two seats as the bar, ordered drinks and dinner. First of all the bread was delicious with whipped butter. My husband ordered the short ribs and I ordered the chicken lo mein. I know its a primarily seafood restaurant, however, we... More
