Triple A Catch!

The restaurant is sitting directly on Wacker, easily gotten to by cab or if close, walk. We were seated immediately upon arriving and greeted by our waiter. We had reservations for 730 and we were seated at 730. The menu is printed daily based on the availability of some of the sea food items. I had swordfish and my wife had the scallops. Both were phenomenal. Unlike a lot of fine dining places I've eaten at, the portion sizes were not absurdly small. They were appropriate for... More

Although on the ground floor of a highrise building this restaurant is a great spot for a lovely dinner (and you forget you are in an office building once you are inside). The food is fine dining prices but the seafood is delicious - the lobster to die-for - and the wait staff are friendly. We will be back.

We started with tenderloin sliders that were just perfectly prepared. The tiniest freshest little buns with truly tender as butter slices of beef with the perfect amount of blue cheese. Everyone in our party LOVED these little morsels! We had scallops, halibut and chilean sea bass. All were wonderful. The hash that is served with the scallops is like a... More

I didn't know what to expect based on the mixed reviews I'd read. I was pleasantly surprised by the service and quality of the food and beverages. I was able to get bleu cheese stuffed olives in my martini which started the evening off on a good note. We didn't feel rushed in the least as the staff was very... More

Stayed at the Renaissance Hotel next door, and went over early on a Friday evening to get some dinner. It was very busy, but was able to get a seat at the bar and still order from the full menu. Tuna sashimi appetizer and short rib has appetizer was delicious, sugar snap peas grilled with candied ginger was also delicious... More

It has been a few years since my wife and I last visited Catch 35. We remember that we really enjoyed it, so we decided it was a perfect location for an early dinner before theater. We were not disappointed. Our waiter, Paul, was very knowledgeable and provided great service. We shared a bottle of the featured wine which was... More

The Consierge recommended Catch 35 for seafood and Jazz. We had great service, nice appetizers (a salad and a clam chowder). I had the Sea Bass and my trophy bride had the wild Salmon. They were both cooked perfectly and were just the rift size. We give this restaurant two thumbs up. It is located right next to the river... More

We both had the price fix......an nice deal for 35'. And we both chose the Lake Superior white fish , which was EXCELLENT. the Dijon mustard sauce was a bit heavy but could easily be pushed aside. It came with salad choice or soup, and dessert. Also, delicious sautéed spinach and mash potatoes. The service was also very good. I... More

Great location near the Chicago River and theater district. The seafood is displayed in a case as you enter, and was fresh and perfectly prepared. The crab cakes are the best I have ever had outside of Maryland. Relaxed atmosphere, and good wine selection. The service was very slow the night we were there, but in fairness, I believe they...
