Was in Chicago for a special concert and my wife's birthday. This was on of the local restaurants on the theater web site, and we were so happy with the recommendation. Excellent food and atmosphere!

We were going to the Oriental Theater and wanted to have lunch within walking distance to the theater. This restaurant was the perfect distance. All 3 of us ordered the fish & chips. They were light and flaky. Our waiter was helpful. We had the toffee pudding cake for dessert - it was delicious and a complimentary birthday treat for... More

Attend a business dinner here almost every year, and it remains a favorite. The service is excellent, and recommendations are spot on. We had the tuna and the scallops appetizers and they were both good. The scallops were buttery and tender and I will certainly have them again. I had the swordfish Oscar and it was excellent. Several people in... More

We visited Catch 35 late in October this year expecting some great seafood and a memorable dining experience. However, Catch 35 did not deliver on either aspect. First of all, the choices on the menu for main were very few and all were rather mediocre, most being of the white fish variety. I ended up ordering deep fried prawns for... More

Had made reservations on a recommendation from friends - and was very glad we did! We had shopped all day on Michigan Ave and surrounding downtown area, and were exhausted by dinner time - but perked up with the terrific meal, beautiful view of downtown Chicago and the Tribune building lit up for the holidays, and great ambiance in the... Ate supper here with friends, the staff were friendly, but not terribly efficient. Had the lobster for main course which was ok priced and tasted quite good. although lacked flavour. Drinks were very weak watered down affairs. There are better seafood places in Chicago like Joe's.

We had dinner at Catch 35 prior to going to a show. Our server asked if we had a show to attend and informed us they validated parking for the whole night. A nice perk but we were staying at a hotel. Our server also paced the dinner so we had more time in between servings since we were early... More

We went here for my daughter's 21st birthday, and were not disappointed. The service was wonderful, the food was wonderful, and we truly felt like we were living in the lap of luxury. The steak and lobster were about the best I've ever eaten, and the portions were enough to fill us up. The butternut squash risotto was great, and... More

Go to Catch 35 for a superb seafood dinner. We had king crab, seabass and swordfish, all delicious. The athmosphere is classy but not posh. Live jazz music was great. To be recommended.
