Catch 35 has a nice menu with some pretty good selections and combinations. The meal we had was certainly good but for the prices charged, they could do better. Their crab cake is a winner as is their lobster and swordfish. I would leave the King crab legs alone. They are just not up to par for the $59 price... More

I am not a huge seafood fan but this is where our group decided to eat. I do like fried shrimp and they had that on the menu. Very good and a very good portion. came with fries and slaw. they are a little stingy on the slaw. A lot of my co-workers got the prix-fixed option. $34 came with... More

Special was Halibut T-bone... I love halibut... this was exceptional - cooked to perfection and served "t-bone" style - about a 1.5 inch thick cut with the backbone still in - along with a veal reduction sauce over it - just fabulous. Plenty to share for 2 people.

My bad --- my friend and I each chose the Alaskan Halibut; he loved it, I didn't (not the restaurant's fault I suppose). The service and ambience are excellent. We shared a good appetizer and a mediocre dessert. Still, I would certainly go again (I had last been there about 7-8 years ago on a much earlier trip to Chicago).

This was my second trip to this restaurant and my first visit was better because of the special - Walleye - however, it was once again excellent. The oysters were fresh and high quality as was the salad and veggies. I would like to visit with my wife in the future. The staff is very professional and friendly. The menu... More

Our party of four remarked on the lovely interior and astute waitstaff. The Menu was varied, focused on seafood but also the turf aspect as well. Drinks were generous and the servings were sufficient. This was our third successive evening out and we were appreciative of the elegant, quiet atmosphere of our dining room. We shared two desserts that were... More

Our friends in Chicago recommended this restaurant. It was easy to go to from our hotel Wyndham on Wacker. Just a block away. Didn't look great from the outside, but so nice on the inside. I want to thank our waitress Ann, very helpfull and informed us well on what was on the menu. Food was great. Wine also.

We have gone to Catch 35 many times before. We loved the food and the ambiance. However today we had guests from Germany join us. We did not know exactly how many persons would be accompany us for dinner and we made reservations for 6 persons. When we arrived at the restaurant with 8 persons, we were told 6 could... More

I ordered the three course menu, which comes for a convenient price and has varied options. The starter was a shrimp soup, the main course was also based on shrimps, and the dessert was the lime pie. The two first were just delicious, well prepared and presented. The dessert was a bit too sour for me, but it was nice.... More

I ordered the Yellowfin Tuna Poke and it was seriously delicious! It was my favorite meal in Chicago. We stayed nearby so it was just so convenient for us also. Definitely a place to try when in Chicago!
