We dined at the bar on Saturday evening. Although it took a few minutes for a couple of seats to open up, it was well worth the wait. My wife and I each ordered salads and our main course consisted of scallops, shrimp cocktail, calamari bad crab cakes. It was absolutely delicious. I'm quite sure anyone that lives seafood will... Great meal, excellent service and nice jazz band in the background. I wanted fish and the waiter recommended their tilapia ginger which they are known for. Now i know why, it was awesome. All in our party enjoyed the food. Wine menu was a bit limited but if you are not a wine snob you'll be just fine. Nice experience.

stopped in the early evening and sat at the bar. Friendly atmosphere and good live music on a Saturday. Sliders were great. Appetizers were tasty and good sized. Great service

We had tried the Catch 35 in Naperville, Illinois, so felt very comfortable making reservations at the Chicago restaurant. We were meeting friends taking the train into town just for dinner and wanted a place close to the train station. Our server was helpful in determining what to eat. Great wine list. There was live jazz playing in the bar... More

Of all the restaurant choices Chicago has to offer, I returned to this restaurant because it has such outstanding fresh seafood and a large selection of shellfish or finfish. We agreed that our selection of Alaska halibut and Bouillabaisse were the very best and it was easy to find a wine pairing. I'm sure all of their other menu choices... More

This is a great location in Chicago to have a quiet and enjoyable seafood dinner. We were a party of four in town for business. A classy restaurant to continue a day of business discussions and entertain your guests. Service here is consistently superior. A good selection on the wine list. We shared a few appetizers so we could each... More

We have eaten here on several occasions and have always enjoyed it. The seafood is fresh and is creatively prepared. It can be a bit noisy and the service a little slow as this restaurant is always busy. If you are staying near by on Wacker, this is a great place to try as it is so close to many... More

They do say the menu itself is a catch-22 as there are loads of great options. However, the waiter was brilliant and suggested this wonderful filet mignon with lobster - yes, surf and turf! - and it was delicious!! The mac & cheese was also amazing, a must-have! I'll definitely go again and I strongly recommend it! It was worth... More

What a delightful experience. This was just my second day in the US from Sydney, Australia and my first visit to Chicago. I was staying in the Renaissance Hotel next door and decided to go to Catch 35 on a recommendation. The service, attention and friendly nature of the staff was highly professional. We chose to have a mix of... More

If the seafood was any fresher you'd have to swim next to it! Great drinks (get the pomegranate mojito), apps (sashimi, calamari), entrees (poke, crab cakes, whitefish) and dessert (sticky toffee pudding), wine selection...it's the total package. Service is top notch, lively but quiet enough to actually have a conversation. Love it!! It's not a trip to Chicago without a... More
