My rating of this restaurant weights heavily on the service side of the experience. Please be sure to duly note that the food itself was good & of the quality you'd expect from a nice steakhouse. Regarding the service: upon being seated, our party of 3 joked with one of our (...many?) waiters that due to some business meetings earlier... More

Went there with a party of 12 and had a wonderful meal. Had appetizers of shrimp cocktail, scallops, and Ahi Tuna. The Tuna was the best but all were great. Had a bone in Filet and lobster tail. It was divine. The baked Alaskan for dessert was delicious. Super expensive and elegant. Glad I had the experience!

During my extended trip in Chicago, i got a chance to visit a number of restaurants. In Chicago, how could you not try all the different steak houses. I can't say that there was something that i really didn't like during our dinner visit, but overall, there are better restaurant options. Here is why: - The restaurant has a very... More

The kobe beef is well worth the price difference. The wine list is superb. The Mac & Cheese with bacon is well worth the calories. The service was excellent.

This has always been our favorite steakhouse in Chicago, but no more. We hadn’t been there for a couple of years and we were shocked at the differences since our last visit. Prices have gone up enormously and the wine list has barely a handful of anything under $100 a bottle. Our server came over to the table twice –... More

I've been here a few time but I will say this time it was fantastic. The seafood platter is to die for and is a must. Had a great ribeye and the sides of course are amazing. Make sure you get the cheese potatoes. Everything about this place is fantastic and it's very very expensive! So be careful.

A party of 3. $725.00 bill including tips. Great service. Great atmosphere. They give you a good line about how they massage the cows and feed them beer. Drinks $19 and they aren't made right. How do they stay in business? Like the song says….walk on buy.

This is a good steakhouse in a city well known for lots of steakhouses. This is also a top spot to see celebrities and athletes. The dry aged steaks re very good.

This was our 4th time at The Chop House. Everyone has their favorite steak place in Chicago and this is our family's. Everything was great as always, from service to drinks to of course, the steaks. It is definitely expensive, but worth it and a yearly treat for us. We have yet to be disappointed and will be back again... More
