It took more than 10 min for a server to approach our table and her greeting was "oh, you don't have menus yet? Here's one, I'll bring the rest later". Very poor service, rushed, inattentive. Tasteful food, good selection of wines and cheese. It was impossible to carry out a conversation, though. The restaurant was full and very loud. Not... More

Absolutely fabulous food. Great selection on the menu and you can order flights of wine etc. Great cheese selection. Service was excellent. I ordered the red wine flight with a beef dish. It was so wonderful to see how the different wines changed the flavor of the food.

We went at cocktail time, meaning only to have a drink, but we were drawn in by the concept and the menu and stopped for a very long dinner. What a joy! The basic idea is that you sample stuff - the wines, for example, in groups of 4 reasonable portions of related but different wine, after which you're likely... More

Had an appetizer in Bin 36 (cheese tasting plate with four wines to taste) and enjoyed the quality of the food and wine. The service was average and I personally did not like the trendy, young atmosphere of the restaurant/wine bar. The food and drinks were also a bit expensive. But if you are in Chicago and you like good... More

Had a late dinner after lolla. Food was good. Trout excellent. Oysters fresh. Wines and cheese plate surprisingly just good. Happy we went.

I must commend the bar and Jimmy who has worked there since the beginning of (their) time. He knows his stuff and is just so hospitable. However, the quality of the food is just going down and down. And apart from the bar and the retail wine store (who are rather good), I just can't quite understand the wait staff... More

Way too slow service for breakfast before a work day. Also not very friendly. But the food and the coffee were good.

Everything here was delicious!!...we dined on steamed mussels and persian feta. The wine/beer selection is to die for. Ended out the meal with their "creme brulee of the day" which happened to be dark chocolate & caramel. I would go here again and again!!

I came to Chicago several years ago with a girlfriend and she took me here. I've been to Chicago two times since and I keep coming back. Thirty two cheese and 45 wines and a menu just right for the weary tracker. The menu was user friendly with information regarding food pairing. If you like wine and cheese (and an... More

We tried a Spanish and south African red wine. Both excellent. Meatballs, cheese flight (cheddar), monk fish were all memorable. Service was great and presentation was artful. To bad we don't have one in Macon. Rats.
