We enjoyed a very nice meal at Coco Pazzo. The chef got off to a great start with a wonderful amuse bouche -- a focaccia filled with fontina, mushrooms and truffle oil. Yummy!! The burrata was just exquisite!! Our mains included risotto, a pasta, and veal medallions with wild mushrooms. All... read more

food was good, service left lots of room for improvement! the ingredients were of mediocre quality and found substitutions, not good! i expected better from this level of eatery. the prices are 'fine' but not the place!

I was not impressed with the restaurants food or service. The ambience was so so and did not give off a very warm vibe. The hostess was just about average in welcoming us. I feel we were more of a nuisance to her when checking in. The bartender was lovely, friendly and made a great cocktail. The service at the... More

I have eaten dinner here more than once, this last time we stopped in for a late lunch. The food is always delicious and well presented.

Visited as 2 couples after being recommended. Takes about 25 mins to walk from Core downtown., and is away from city center. Wine list is impressive, expect to pay around $60. Starters - salads excellent. Main course, took sea food stew, sea bass. All too salty and small portions. Asked to have some pasta with the bass, but said no.... More

As a Chicago resident, I've learned over the years that this restaurant consistently is on the slow side with its food service. Most recently, I had a group dining for lunch who had a specific time they needed to leave. When the vendor arrived to collect them for their next activity, they had not yet been served their food. They... More

Great food, wine and atmosphere. If you have a chance to go there for dinner you won't be disappointed.

I went to Coco Pazzo with very high expectations. A number of friends had described it as the best Italian in all of Chicago. I went there with a number of colleagues from work for lunch and found the meal and experience average. The food simply did not wow me. Perhaps I came in expecting too much, but the lunch... More

Good food, excellent service. The dishes were well executed, but nothing really stood out as exceptional. I'd go here again as I'm sure the food and service would be consistent.
