This is an easy choice when your dining choice is Italian. It's cozy atmosphere is very friendly and inviting. I've never had bad service at this restaurant. The wine list is lovely and the food is amazing. Reminds me of meals I had while traveling in Italy. In the summer, they do offer seating out on the side walk (tables).

Having dined at Coco Pazzo mutiple times over the years, we chose it for a special family event. Most in our group enjoyed their meal. However, I was served a rancid pork chop. I recognize that mistakes are made. Their lack of response was extremely disappointing.

This is off the beaten path and is a great place to go to get off the Mag Mile. The open kitchen provides a peek into the lives of the chefs. The service was excellent and the food superb. The Italian wine list is extensive.

We always make a point to have lunch at Coco Pazzo when we visit Chicago. The food is genuinely Italian. The wine list includes many interesting selections. And the service is top notch. The ambiance is one of casual refinement with great acoustical treatment to allow conversation. A Chicago institution, in my opinion

The menu is well versed, the staff is attentive and knowledgable, and the vino is superb. The kale salad and chickpea soup are delicious. The homemade ravioli is also exquisite. It is pricey for the amount of food--a true city ristorante.

It was really just average, nothing to write home about. It would be different if the prices were more less-mid range, but at top dollar you can certainly find many other spots. I actually had to return the Pappardelle and got the rigatoni instead. There were 8 of us and only guy really enjoyed his dish...most just said it was... More
