It's a taste of "Chicago" for sure

You need time if you want to eat pizza here. From ordering to table expect up to 1 hour for deep dish and half an hour for thin crust (which is not thin in a New York sense). Thankfully the ambiance is great and the staff are too. I ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer and it was huge and... read more

Great homemade chips! Good chili but it was served Luke warm. Liked the wine choices and home brewed beer flights. The deep dish--we had the Chicago Fire -- was tasty but the outer crust was so hard it was inedible. Since this was my first taste of Chicago deep dish I don't know if this is normal. Good service.

We visited Gino's East on our last night in Chicago as we wanted to sample the famous pizza pie that we kept on hearing about. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table but once seated the waitress took our drinks order and talked us through the menu. We decided to share a pizza pie, the waitress advised... More

Deep dish, chicken parm, and a salad. The meal was ok but not exceptional. The marinara sauce on the chicken parm was very good. The salad was ok. A go to place to visit in the city.

Just average. Not as good as original location. Sad that my favorite Pizza place and receipe is gone! The recipe has changed. I have gone here for years growing up.

We were told by the trolley driver to try this restaurant for authentic Chicago style pizza. We got there at 2 Pm and were told there would be a 30 minute wait. Since there was two seats open at the bar, we opted to sit there and eat. We were surprised to find out it was also a brewery. We... More

The atmosphere was amazing. Very spacious restaurant. Great setting for any size party. Service was awesome. Servers were on top of serving each guest and assuring everyone had something on their plate at all times. Food was great.

We went off advice from our friend who grew up in Chicago because it was our first time visiting and we were not disappointed ! Had the meaty legend and home made cheese sticks ! Sooooooo good ! My husband is a thin and crispy kind of guy but loved this pizza !

It has been 5 years since I was last in Chicago and had a signature Deep Dish Pizza. I had been craving it for quite a while as I had numerous connections through O'Hare but couldn't get a chance to run into town. So when I asked my hotel concierge where to go for some Pizza, he immediately pointed me... More

I haven't tried Gino's in years, as I'm a big Edwardo's and Lou Malnati's fan. We gave this location a try on a Friday night. Only 20 minute wait...nice atmosphere....great service. We reallly like their beer selection. But my sausage patty deep dish just didn't wow me like others. Great crust, but it just wasn't "deep", not enough cheese. Flavor... More
