Worked great for take out

My wife and I were in Chicago to see Newsies last December and wanted to get some pizza before we left town. We didn't want to go sit at the restaurant as we called and they said there was over an hour wait to be seated and we would have to wait even more to get our pizza. We decided... read more

Tried two places during our visit to Chicago for deep dish pizza--loved Gino's East! We went in before the crowds and probably got the pizza in less than 1/2 hour. The pizza was worth the wait. They make theirs with a delicious crust which the waiter told us was cornmeal. It tastes much better than they butter crust we had... More

Have to stop by for deep dish every time I'm in town. The pizza never disappoints! The nice thing about this location is the brewery....excellent craft beer flights to go with the pizza! The atmosphere isn't as cozy & classic as the other location, but the service was good. Taking a par-baked frozen deep dish home!

I am skeptical about deep dish pizza but my husband wanted to go and we ordered the deep dish spinach marguerite pizza and it was heavenly. Not too heavy, just right. And the Field salad was fresh and wonderful. So was the service, we had to wait to get it but they warned us and the really good craft beer... More

First visit to Chicago and was looking forward to trying some famous deep dish pizza and Gino's did not disappoint! Delicious sauce and generous with the toppings. Go early if you can (4pm) to avoid lines and be prepared to wait at least 45minutes for the pie but it is worth the wait! I will be making a stop here... More

Popped in for a drink and stayed for 3! The brisket sliders were really tasty and the beer was very drinkable. Friendly staff, though it was fairly quiet when we visited at lunch time on a Wednesday, so we were given full attention.

The atmosphere is that of a masculine, dark brew house. But, while the Red Sox played the white sox on one TV and Green Bay played the saints on the other, great great great ginos-brewed beer was enjoyed, and an amazing deep dish Chicago pizza was mowed through!! Give yourself plenty of time to stay: deep dish takes a loooong... More

We attended the Drunk Science show. The show was average but our service and the food were great. Downside, they were out of several of their craft beers we had planned to try.

My TripAdvisor body of work should prove I'm not a complainer. But I'd have hung a "don't-go-in" neon sign outside this place had I owned one. Granted, we hit a crowded Saturday night. But accoustics are horrible in here and we couldn't carry on a conversation between two of us because of other noise. We were seated next to a... More

Best Chicago pizza I have tasted! The new location is nice and large and they have a comedy club above them. Good selection of craft beers made on premise to go with the pizza. The normal and deep dish are both fantastic, My favorite is the deep dish with the cornmeal crust.
