Good pizza and home brewed beer

Gino's is one of many pizza chains in Chicago. The pizzas are good and the service is very attentive. Crust: 3.5/5 Cheese: 4/5 Sauce: 4.5/5 Protein: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 They offer a large selection of tasty home brewed beers It is a good restaurant, but I think Lou Malnati's is better.

First night in Chicago wen to Gino's East Magnificent Mile around the corner from Doubletree Hotel. Wasn't crowded, was seated immediately, waiter was not friendly and he was abrupt. Took drink order and never came back for refills of water or to ask if we wanted another beer, etc... Pizza dough was raw! I know deep dish is supposed to... More

Being from boston, the hotel recommended we try some Chicago pizza, so we headed to Gino's. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere. Our server recommended we try the deep dish. My husband and I ordered a supreme deep dish and my daughter ordered the flat buffalo pizza. Both were very good. The buffalo was definitely on the very hot side!... More

In the battle of deep dish pizzas Gino's East always reigns supreme to me. I ordered the sausage "disk" as I call it and pepperoni deep dish with a colleague of mine whom had never had deep dish in his life. He had heard of Lou's and UNOs but never Gino's East (blasphemy)! It was love at first bite and... More

We wanted a Chicago style pizza experience on our last day trip to Chicago. So this Gino's East got our stop. It was a very hot May evening. The city had not turned on the air conditioning in the restaurant (that was the explanation for the over heated eatery). Fortunately, they had a place to sit outside on the sidewalk.... More

We had to hurry by cab to finally grab our share of Chicago style pizza here after a Blackhawks game....it was about a 15 minute cab ride away from the United Center....we arrived at about 10:15PM as a charter bus full of people was just pulling away....the staff DID NOT have to seat us at all since we arrived so... Since all tables were taken, I was offered a place at the bar. The bartender was responsible for all drinks being served in the entire restaurant. She was able to take my order fairly quickly, but unfortunately my pizza was left sitting for 5-10 minutes before she discovered it. I ate one piece but had to send it back to... More

The supreme pizza was out of this world The crust was crunchy and delicious- I'm not a crust person and wanted to eat all of it! Took the usual time for a deep dish pizza to cook, so an appetizer is recommended- The bar chips were also great with the dipping sauce provided. Would definitely visit again and recommend this... The individual deep dish was the special for lunch when we went and they told us it was pre-made, it tasted as such, but had to try a deep dish while we were in town nonetheless. The beer brewing part is very cool though.

What's to dislike?!?! Gino's East was amazing! My first time having fresh Chicago style pizza and it was everything I imagined. The staff was a bit abrupt, but they weren't rude, just very busy.
