Fogo de ChaoR (fo-go dee shoun), is an authentic Southern Brazilian steakhouse. In 1979, FogoR began sharing the gaucho way of preparing meat in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Today, our gaucho chefs still expertly grill each of our 16 cuts of meat and offer you continuous tableside service. We invite you to enjoy the delicious preparations of our gaucho chefs along with our gourmet salad bar, authentic Brazilian side dishes, and award-winning wine list.

Fun!

This is a fun place to take a group of people. All you can eat meat and huge salad bar. It's going to be crowded and make sure you have a reservation.

The food was wonderful, the service was always immediate and constant personal service. The manager on duty regaled us with stories from when he did ju jitsu and was delightful. The sirloin was to die for! The atmosphere was romantic and accomadated our large group with no issues. The only reason I'm rating it a 4 is because it didn't... More

We have visited there several times. Amazing cold bar for vegetables. Table side carving service was hit or miss. And some meats the sodium was so high.

The food was very tasty and there is a lot of selection! We have been to another Brazilian steak house but this one definitely out did the other! The staff was very nice and service was great. Very romantic setting! My only complaint was the specialty Brazilian drink was very bitter; a friend of mine is from Brazil and has... More

Excellent steak house!!!! All different type of BBQ meat, from beef to pork, chicken, lamb and sausages, keep coming to you and are cut directly to your plate. You can taste the different flavors and seasonings. The meat are so fresh and crunchy in the outside due the high flames in which are BBQ, but tender inside. This brazilian restaurant... More

This was my first time experiencing a Brazilian steak house, and I am glad I got to try it at Fogo. The meat was served as we requested, the waiting time when I flipped my "serving-coin" was fast, and the sides were good. The reason why I won't give Fogo the top rating is only because I felt like I... More

This was not my first visit to a Brazilian Steak House, but it was my first time to the Fogo de Chao in Chicago. I was with a large group for an early dinner and it was noisy and crowded. The wait staff was good, but they kept coming by with the same selections of beef. I finally had to... More

The food was great! The meats were tender and very flavorful. The Gauchos were constantly returning to the table with different cuts of meat. The wait service was excellent. Salad bar had a good variety of offerings. Included Proschutto and salami. Also the wine list was very extensive. Good wines at a reasonable price. We will return next time we... More

Great place for carnivores! Brazilian meat and poultry prepared in many ways. Sides are very good too. Also, their salad bar is extensive and delicious. Be careful not to eat too much to save room for the meat. The desserts are delicious. On this visit, I had the papaya cream. Very light, flavorful and yummy! Other visits - tres leche... More
