The atmosphere is great, jazz music was a nice touch. Get a window seat if you can, great bar, good food. The staff was excellent, attentive and polite. The meal was awesome with no complaints. It is not as expensive as you would think on Michigan and with the ambiance. It is up one level off the street, so be... More

While visiting Chicago, my old boss and friend, stooped here for a late dinner. Didn't make reservations and the wait would have been 45 - 60 minutes. We made our way to the bar (which was very busy). We had a few beers and finally two stools opened up for us to sit down. After having a few beers, just... More

Our first visit to this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the jazz music just right, and the atmosphere relaxing. The staff was attentive and friendly. All in all, an excellent restaurant.

I went to Bandera almost 3 years ago, but the experience is still very memorable. The ambience was great, it was quite full in the evening and we had to wait at the bar to get a seating. The music was fabulous. We were a group of 5 and all of us enjoyed our time there.

On the second floor directly located on Michigan Ave, this restaurant is a fixture to Chicago.every time I visit, I eat here, food is consistent, dark atmosphere and live music gives the place though noisy an intimate feel. Affordable prices for Chicago

On average, it is good value for money. We booked a table for two. Even though, we had to wait too long. The food was nice, the toilets clean, the staff were very professional and there was a living performance at no extra cost

Stopped in last evening for dinner at Bandera and as always enjoyed. Was alone, so sat at the bar and ordered salad and glass of wine. Bandera is a good choice for lunch/dinner when on Michigan Ave. The waits can't be long, would prefer if they would take reservations. request a table in the window to watch the action on... More

We tried to get into the Purple Pig on a cold foggy evening and were told the wait was an hour. Bandera is just accross the street and was a wonderful surprise, I totally recommend a visit. The outside is deceptive, once you are upstairs the attmosphere is wonderful. They seated us quickly with a great view of Michigan Avenue,... More
