Great fish sandwich. Jalapeño cornbread is delicious. Great service. Loved that you could hold a conversation with your table and not feel as if you were shouting.

A group of friends was in town in Chicago, & was staying steps away at the Intercontinental Hotel. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the French Dip sandwich that I had was fantastic. About average price-wise for downtown Chicago.

We taken by friends to Bandera for lunch, and were fortunate to be seated at a window table which allowed us to 'people watch' whilst chatting and eating. Cool refreshing beers were served promptly, and our orders taken, and filled quite speedily. The food and service were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the restaurant. The only slight... More

Went there with a couple of clients for a business dinner. The food exceeded our expectations (except the famous corn bread - but take in account European tatse, please). We had some troubles with the reservation though, getting one table for six seemed to be a problem.

This restaurant is part of the Hillstone family and has the same vibe as many of the others (Houston's, Hillstone, etc.) with respect to both the menu and atmosphere. The quality of the food is always excellent and service is attentive and prompt. During the evenings they have live piano music and the view, should you get a window view,... More

The food and music were fantastic! The jazz music was fun to listen to while eating. I ordered the Ahi Seared Tuna salad and ate every last bit. The tuna was cooked perfectly with a yummy glaze poured on top. My mother had the French Dip which was also the best french dip I have ever tasted. Great place!

We have been here a couple times and we will always come back! When we stay in the city, it is within walking distance and we love it! We always bring our own wine (they don't charge a corkage fee- which is awesome). The atmosphere is trendy and it's a bonus if u can get a window seat! Service is... More

Lovely staff and the food was fabulous. I had kale salad followed by rockfish. But we specifically asked for a break between first and second courses which the waitress acknowledged - yes, you've guessed it - I was still chewing my last delicious mouthful of kale salad and the main course arrived! It wasn't piping hot so we had to... More

Came in on a Thursday evening without a reservation - we're able to grab two seats at the bar. Service was very friendly, prompt, and food was excellent! Would come back anytime I pass through Chicago!

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
