Very impressed by Wildfire. We had fantastic steaks there, particularly the Tenderloin Tip cut which was still delicious and tender when cooked medium. The seafood combination plate was also very tasty. Deserts were top quality too - so you may not want to eat much before going to the restaurant to make sure there's room. Topped off by attentive and... More

The food here is good! The service is great! The Martini Flight, 4 tasters of their signature Martini's are wonderful. The black cherry one was my favourite. The bread is freshly baked and gorgeous. Prices range from £12-£35 for a main so suits all pockets. A little out the way but worth it!

I visited this place a couple of times for dinner during my recent trip to Chicago. This place is just couple of minutes off the beaten path and has a very warm atmosphere. Open kitchen and a wooden interior make you really feel in a steakhouse. There is also a bar corner with high tables. The service is professional, friendly... More

We have gone to Wildfire the last 3 times we have been privileged enough to vacation in Chicago. We haven't had a bad meal yet. My husband and sons love the charred bone-in ribeye and caramelized onions and mushrooms. That is what they order every time--why mess with a good thing, right? If they are extra hungry they get a... This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. We went with a small group to celebrate our son's 21st birthday! We were seated prior to our reservation time, which was a plus, but later turned out to be a negative. I will explain later..... Bar staff was awesome and generous with the pours. Waitress explained specials and... More

The food was fantastic! Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable, and demonstrated just the right amount of attentiveness. My wife has special dietary needs, and the menu options available for her was extensive! We frequently go places and her choices are incredibly limited...so this was a real treat for her! The server was knowledgeable about her needs and wanted to... More

Martinis were great before dinner, blood orange was awesome. Food was surpurb as was the service. Bacon wrapped scallops were quite a treat, melted goat cheese was not what we expected..much better! Main course was the bison filet and it was great! I would definitely go back.

I took a group of three other professionals to the Wildfire Grill Tuesday night (August 19, 2014). I've been several times over the past decade. Although I live in Colorado, I'm in Chicago yearly in August. When I plan my trip to Chicago, I immediately begin to (in my imagination) the wood fire smell as I enter the Wildfire. I... More

Recently dined here for the first time on a Saturday evening. Great atmosphere, great service. Fast attention bringing bread and water. Excellent wine list and some nice flights. Menu is very extensive our main courses of halibut and filet were both of very high quality and portions are generous. Will definitely retune when in town.

Everything about this restaurant is great! The service, atmosphere, and the FOOD! We were a party of four and tried four different steaks which were all delicious! The big surprise for me was my love of the bison filet which had a wonderfully rich flavor. The porterhouse steak received great reviews and the horseradish encrusted beef filet was the best... More
