Great Chopped Salad and everything else!

My favorite thing on their menu is the chopped salad. Many restaurants in Chicago feature a chopped salad, but none can compare to Wildfire's! Don't miss it! We were there on a Thursday night, and were surprised how quiet it was (there was a huge convention in town and everywhere else was packed). Has it lost some its popularity? Don't... More

The ambiance is great, the staff is friendly and very knowledgable of the menu. We had a table of 12 and our waiter was amazing. The food is so great! This originaly wasn't my pick of restaraunts in Chicago but I am so glad I got out-voted. You must try the shrimp and crab bisque - it was ridiculously amazing!!!... More

I thought I died and was in heaven. The service was exceptional. Everyone was so nice--from the hostess to the waiter. The table bread they give you is an onion bread, which was awesome. We had the French onion soup, and we just couldn't believe how good it was. I have never had anything that good in my life. I... More

Had dinner here during restaurant week. I think I may have had one of the best meals I have every had. The steak with horseradish crust was excellent. The potatoes were really good and the chocolate cream pie was, well exceptional! It is expensive but we enjoyed ever bite!

I was there this week which happens to be Chicago Restaurant Week. I walked there and back from my hotel after the sidewalks had been cleared of snow - it was great to get outside. I tried one of their menus for restaurant week which included a roasted tomato and red pepper soup, tenderloin tips, broccoli with a lemon vinaigrette... More

There are so many quality steakhouses in Chicago that you don't have time to dine at all of them. And, honestly, there isn't much of a difference between them. Some get more publicity than others. Some are pricier than others. Some claim their steaks are aged longer than others. But any list of the top 20 steakhouses in Chicago includes... More

Went on a busy Sat night with reservations and had a short wait. Very crowded and loud like a good steakhouse should be. Service and food were very good and less expensive than other Chicago steakhouses. Sides aren't so huge that you need 2 people to eat one. Pace was slightly rushed because it was so busy and they were... More

Had great service despite the crowd. Really enjoyed the seafood combination: salmon, shrimp, scallops, crab cake. Prices aren't for the faint of heart - unless you're on expense account. Salad, veggies, potatoes, rice, etc. are all a la carte. Didn't rush us, enjoyed the tempo.

We had the worst experience at this restaurant the first time we went there for dinner. We decided to give it another try and the second time around we had the best experience ever. The waitress was great, the food was great and where we were seated was great. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Their salads are fantastic.... More

Saw reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to try the restaurant as it was within walking distance of our hotel. We arrived early, but were seated immediately. We have never seen a martini flight before, but my wife tried it and loved it. She then ordered a full sized drink of her favorite ("Stormy Night") that she would ordinarily not... More
