Fun time

This is the ultimate in old time diner experience. There is a little show put on by the waiters and they treat you rudely on purpose. The tacos are really good, so are the fried pickles. My daughter suggests the black Cow ice cream drink.

Funny. Rude. Colorful. Friendly. I had the Blue Cheese Burger and it was divine... had to ask for a knife to cut it in half, and got grief for it! Hahaha.....

I had the chicken pot pie. It was OK. My partner had a burger with avocado and bacon. Except for the soggy bun, it was OK. The waiter's shtick was briefly entertaining. But I felt bad for him, as he was doing the job of three people while other employees were standing around.

After celebrating St. Patrick's Day, my hubby brought me here to experience their diner--it was an awesome treat! The moment you enter the place, you'd immediately be transported to the 1930s -40s age. It's not only the interior design that gives you this early 20th century feel, the people/waiters are also playing the 'role.' Be prepared to be greeted by... More

Everyone must go here at least once. The burgers were great. Atmosphere was such a great throw back to the 50's and Popcorn insulted me just enough to keep me in stitches.

The food was very good and the service simply awful. Which is exactly why we came here. The waiter was very insulting to me and my children. The waiters danced to YMCA on the counter and gave a great show. A fun place and a must see when in Chicago.

Its usually pretty crowded here but seating comes pretty quick. Its a basic 50s burger joint that keeps its 50s theme. The burgers are amazing and even better with one of their signature shakes!! Its located as you are leaving Chicago to get on the tollway on Ontario street. The service is quick and efficient.

We went to Ed's for a shake and the atmosphere. It's fun to be harassed by the waiters/waitresses as well as watch them harass other people. For example, our hostess made us take our menus to our table, the waiter threw the straws on the table when delivering our water, and then when we were finished, he put our bill... More
