Great food and wine

I was staying at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park and decided to drop in here for dinner on a Monday night. The hostess was not friendly at all, and it seemed that I was wasting her time to ask for a table, but I was seated right away. It took a bit of time to be greeted by the server... read more

We did not intend to eat here because of some Trip Advisor reviews that were less than favorable. That said, as we headed out to dinner we made it about 50 feet before the rain came pouring down. So headed back for dinner at the hotel before we drowned. The food was amazing - lamb shank and the rosemary-brined chicken.... More

There are better places to go for sushi if you're in Chicago. But if your staying at the Fairmont, it'll do. I agree with the other reviews, it's fair to average, at best. To improve this restaurant, I'd like to see more creative dishes and cocktails. Then the price wouldn't bother me as much.

Friendly staff. Went here to grab some sushi wile I waited for my room. I had a spicy tuna roll and their best selling roll both of which tasted great.

Went back to Aria today after about a five year hiatus. Reminded me why I went back ... good food, good service. The Asian fusion is really fusion. I had a lamb burger today that was really good. Unfortunately, the accompanying fries were a little soggy.

I decided to go with some appetizers instead of a main dish – the jumbo crab cake, the squash bisque soup and naan bread. All were delicious. The only negative was the bill – more than $40 for a single person, without drinks. If that doesn’t bother you, you’ll enjoy this restaurant.

Ate lunch...had a burger and she had a steak salad. Both were very good, but the burger seemed to hold up the meal.

We Ordered the California roll and the fish tacos and both were bland. Wanted a quick bite to take up to our room after a long day and this was just so so.

Menu selection has been much improved over what we experienced a few years back. Choices will accommodate most every palette.Staff is knowledgeable...friendly.Food is a delight to the taste buds. Seasonal choices so menu varies which is great for return visits..

So overpriced for the type/quality of food. What once was a 5 Star restaurant is now a 3 Star but has not accepted the decline or done anything about it. The staff were very friendly but service was on the slower side. Decor was modern and clean. And the Aria bar is infant friendly! - Ate breakfast there every morning... More

Staying in Downtown / The Loop

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city.
