unlikely place for sushi

For a restaurant named Aria, this restaurant in the Fairmont Hotel has a great sushi bar. Fresh fish and seafood, perfectly crafted and, on Thursdays, a great deal.

Went here on a business outing. The food and service were good, but I would highly recommend checking the menu options before going. Again, everything was good, but if you are with folks who prefer options and also foods they are familiar with this will not be the place to go.

We visited Aria on a girls trip to Chicago. The service was extremely slow (with an attitude). The bar area was nearly empty, and it took 21 minutes to get a drink (with an attitude). My makimono lobster roll was out of this world. Top notch. If Aria could get servers who want to hustle and provide a great customer... More

Restaurant was so busy we opted for the bar, noisier than restaurant but with most of the same food, and can also eat from restaurant menu. Wait service works really hard and it's quick. Spent our meal watching sushi being made, absolutely fascinating. Sushi, fish and chips, burgers, a good choice of food, and excellent salads. Highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I dined in the Aria Bar on Friday for some sushi and drinks. The sushi was wonderful, and I was happy that the bar carried my favorite scotch. Our server, Veronica, was great. She was incredibly welcoming, pleasant, and very attentive, despite there being other occupied tables. We were also assisted by another server, Joe, who was... More

As a repeat customer, I was glad to see they participated in Restaurant Week. My husband & I went for lunch. Both the soup& salad were good. The salmon entree was wonderful, & I'm aware of good salmon. My husband's pork dish with with root vegetables was mostly potato with little pork. A disappointment! The wine list is very expensive.... The buckwheat waffle was fantastic and the buffet was very nice, although overpriced for what you got (eggs, meats, pastry and fruit). Coffee service was slow after the first cup but once I got the attention of the waitress she brought it to the table. Food was good, but expensive.

We made a reservation with Open Table for dinner at the Aria in the Fairmont Hotel and when we went for dinner the restaurant was closed and no one notified of us that this was the case.

Very good service. Moe was super nice. We came in from out of town so he spent his time telling us all the local hot spots. Great food as well! I'd definitely go back.

Atmosphere and food quality. Top tier. More of a lounge for the sushi area and Aria is upper level food and great comfortable atmosphere.
