Great bar, always too busy for drop ins so reservations a must. Plan on spending a lot of money, in my opinion overpriced for what you get. Eat at the bar is best options. Noisy happening place.

I took my kids to dinner at this fantastic, classic Chicago restaurant for my son's birthday recently and it was wonderful in every way. My son had the 1 1/2 lb. lobster tail which he happily devoured. My daughter enjoyed her filet mignon and I ordered the king crab legs that were shelled table side by a member of the... More

Terrific food. The service is always beyond exceptional. Our server Frank asks, learns and uses his customers names. He was there when we seemed to need him and were left alone when we didn't. Best server ever.

Calamari was great. Fried shrimp was ok. Stone crab was good. Atmosphere was just ok. It was overpriced. This was our most expensive meal in Chicago. But not our best.

Took the family to Joe's as we often do when we visit Chicago. We Always ordered the stone crab(what else would you order from a restaurant originally named Joe's Stone Crab). I had read a few reviews that were highly complimentary about their steaks and decided to order the mid level ribeye . Of course I had a side order... More

Had walked in hungry but the wait for a bar table was well worth it. Staff was attentive and recommendations were great. Crab cake was awesome. Lobster bisque the best one I had in Chicago. Steak was perfect. Must visit
