A few of our party had been to Roy's before but 6 years earlier so we didn't know what to expect. Everything on the menu looked awesome so we had a hard time deciding what to choose! I was trying to decide between the Mahi Mahi and the Salmon and the waitress suggested to go for the Trio (butterfish, salmon... More

Wonderful seafood, drinks, and of course, dessert. Go early for Aloha hour, put in you order for the chocolate soufflé when you order your meal, and order the butterfish. You will NOT be disappointed.

We recently visited Roy's again and were not disappointed, this is one of our favorite Chicago restaurants. The decor is beautiful, the service is great, if you go at a busy time and don't have a reservation, you can try to find a table in the bar without waiting and can order from the regular menu. Try the Roy's trio,... More

I have been to Roy's on Maui, Hawaii, and Kauai. I have been to Roy's in Chicago, Orlando, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. They are all amazing and the food is fantastic. Love the short ribs, mahi mahi and of course the chocolate soufflé. They are also extremely kid friendly and bring a plate with cheese quesadilla, apple slices... More

The decor was beautiful and cozy. The food is gourmet Hawaiian fusion. The service was excellent. Our waitress really catered to each person's needs and questions so professionally and conscientiously. I regret forgetting her name but she had short dark hair. Edamame was served for the table as we ordered our drinks. It was a nice change from bread and... More

It's been quite a few years since I've been back to Roy's Chicago. When it first opened, it was one of the "hot spots" and have visited it a couple of times when I lived downtown. After visiting Roy's in Waikoloa in Hawaii last year and had such a wonderful experience there, I thought hmmm, why not try out the... More

This is a solid restaurant that was one of the hottest places on town when it first opened. The gloss has worn off now but the food and the service is still good. Creative and fresh seafood is the main attraction. The butterfish is always worth the try. The molten chocolate soufflé is always a hit but it is super... More

We had such a great time at Roy's .Great service and food. The calamari and coconut shrimp appetizers were perfect and a little unique which is fun. Very nice wine list and the steak and lobster with hollandaise was Devine! I can not wait to eat at Roy's again!!

Our friends selected this restaurant and while it looks nice from the outside, once inside it was all first class. The meal was excellent, the service was exceptional and when the maitre d' found out that we were going to the theater he arranged a shuttle for us to drop us off at the theater, no charge. I had the... More

My boyfriend has been talking about this place forever and we finally went. He has been in Hawaii and here. I had driven by this place a million times and never noticed it as it is very inconspicuous. Right across from Holy Name cathedral! The cocktails were delicious. I had a mango mojito which tasted very much like the ones... More
