Great Food and Great Atmosphere

Wow, what a gem with a Hawaiian themed menu. The lobster potstickers are excellent as well as the jumbo shrimp. Highly recommended and will definitely return again.

We've enjoyed Roy's for many years in many locations and tonight is our last dinner there. It's old and tired with slow drink service, and the only thing that makes the trip worthwhile is the chocolate lava cake (everything else is average at best). So go just for dessert and drinks and skip all the rest. That's what we will... More

We like stopping in Roy's for their happy hour aka aloha hour! They have some very good cocktails on the happy hour list. I enjoy the gun drink with the egg white! Also, the past two times I went they gave us complimentary edamame! What a nice gesture. I haven't had their entrees but it's Hawaiian themed cuisine.

Braised beef short rib, Lobster potstickers, and the lobster, shrimp and crab cake mixed plate. All excellent! Great restaurant for special occasions. I did not like my dessert, the carrot cake, but it did not take away from our overall experience.

We've dined at 3 different Roy's and we're always pleased! We had our 8yo with us so it wasn't the same as going with just my husband and I but the service and food were wonderful. Roy's does allow for you to bring your own wine and we did which was a nice treat as what we like is hard... More

We had the most fabulous dinner here! Started out with lobster dim sum.....to die for. Main entree for my husband was seared Ahi; seriously the best I've every tasted. It was like butter. Not grainy at all which some Ahi can be. Firecracker shrimp was excellent and the Kim Chee fried rice was like mini fireworks in my mouth. Yummy!... More

I've been to a lot of Roy's locations, and while they are all very good, Chicago is consistently one of the best. An average restaurant is not going to last long in Chicago, and Roy's is always an excellent experience. We had a party of seven, and the wait staff handled it perfectly: Punctual, pleasant, attentive, and lively but not... More

We had a dinner party of 20. It was one of those rare times at a restaurant when I can say the service was impeccable. No one asked for a fork, another drink, anything. They were on top of everything and very timely .the food was good and all seemed to enjoy it.

We capped off our Chicago weekend with a delicious dinner at Roy's. Started with a mango monitor, even though I rarely drink anything other than wine, hubby had a Buffalo Trace Manhattan. The monitor was good but a little more mango would have been nice. Hilary, our server, was really good - careful to explain the menu, answer questions, and... More
