Loved the food and atmosphere.

Braised beef short rib, Lobster potstickers, and the lobster, shrimp and crab cake mixed plate. All excellent! Great restaurant for special occasions. I did not like my dessert, the carrot cake, but it did not take away from our overall experience.

We've dined at 3 different Roy's and we're always pleased! We had our 8yo with us so it wasn't the same as going with just my husband and I but the service and food were wonderful. Roy's does allow for you to bring your own wine and we did which was a nice treat as what we like is hard... More

We had the most fabulous dinner here! Started out with lobster dim sum.....to die for. Main entree for my husband was seared Ahi; seriously the best I've every tasted. It was like butter. Not grainy at all which some Ahi can be. Firecracker shrimp was excellent and the Kim Chee fried rice was like mini fireworks in my mouth. Yummy!... More

I've been to a lot of Roy's locations, and while they are all very good, Chicago is consistently one of the best. An average restaurant is not going to last long in Chicago, and Roy's is always an excellent experience. We had a party of seven, and the wait staff handled it perfectly: Punctual, pleasant, attentive, and lively but not... More

We had a dinner party of 20. It was one of those rare times at a restaurant when I can say the service was impeccable. No one asked for a fork, another drink, anything. They were on top of everything and very timely .the food was good and all seemed to enjoy it.

We capped off our Chicago weekend with a delicious dinner at Roy's. Started with a mango monitor, even though I rarely drink anything other than wine, hubby had a Buffalo Trace Manhattan. The monitor was good but a little more mango would have been nice. Hilary, our server, was really good - careful to explain the menu, answer questions, and... More

We are in Chicago about ten times a year, and have been adding Roy's to our list of regular places. As foodies, the treat is sitting at the Chef's bar and watching Chef Dillon do his sushi. He's not talkative, but is certainly open to questions about techniques or knives. Plus it's just fun to watch the whole operation work... More

My husband and I ate at Roy's Chicago for our 1st anniversary. We ate at Roy's in Ko Olina, Oahu while on our honeymoon, so this was a chance for us to reminisce without being in Hawaii. The service was great and food was also very good. We each had the Roy's Trio of fish and all were great. Also,... More

My friend and I went into Roy's on Saturday evening to see if they had a Sunday Brunch buffet. When we discovered they did not we asked the hostess if she would recommend a nearby restaurant. She asked if we minded waiting a minute so that she could inquire with her manager (who, she said, this was his thing.) She... More
