Food was fantastic, restaurant ridiculously busy

Service and food at Giordano's was top notch, however it was much much more busy midweek than I was expecting. Although having had the food I can see why it was so busy. Delicious deep dish pizza with the best crust I've ever tasted. However, be prepared to wait. They are very busy and our wait time was approximately 45 minutes. If you have the time, the pizza is definitely worth it.

although a chain Giodarnos feels individual. We went to the one next to the Penisula Hotel. As we didn't have a USA cell phone we had to preorder then waited about 30 minutes for the table. Pizza was great and very filling. They do a variety of different including thin crust which also are very good but it's deep pan... More

We sincerely enjoyed the pizza here. It was a nice meal. It took a while for it to be made but, it also is a huge pizza. The restaurant was really busy so expect to wait, but trust me it's worth it.

The pizza at Giordano's can't be beat. We arrived at about 4:00 on a Friday (party of 3), and only had to wait about 25 minutes for a table (we've had to wait much, much longer before). We pre-ordered our pizza, and it was ready soon after we were seated. We wanted to order drinks, but the waitress was at... More

My wife and I visited Chicago for a very short weekend, so we asked a friend what to do for food. There was no doubt in his mind, Giordano's was the place. Now, we like pizza. But in europe, our 'deep dish' is never more than an inch thick. Giordanos pizza is ENORMOUS. We both managed only two slices each,... More

If you want to try Chicago’s deep dish pizza, this is an excellent option. Warning; they tell you in the menu that if you want the deep dish, you may have a 45 minute wait. In our experience that’s true. There are several locations. At the downtown ones, there is often a very long wait; sometimes as long as 90... More

Of course Chicago has the best deep dish pizza and Giordano's has one of the best. Why does Chicago have the best deep dish? Because they created it. There are lots of places to eat great pizza in Chicago.

This is my type of pizza. I can eat it everyday. The cheese, the meat, the crust, all excellent. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not the best one, but the pizzas are so delicious. A must see place in Chicago.

I went to Chicago during Christmas time and stayed at the Marriott on Magnificent Mile. Giordano's was recommended by a tour guide as a must try in Chicago.....as the city is famous for their deep dish pizza. We were forewarned that it gets very busy and that the wait can take up to an hour. We arrived before dinner time,... More
