Chicago has an abundance of excellent restaurants but even though this is technically a chain it is a great Italian restaurant. The waitress was quite pleasant and knowledgable about all the foods and wines. The pasta is all homemade and delicious. Small plates are great for smaller appetites or trying more than one and quite reasonable. My wife's meal was... More

I dined at Trattoria no.10 on a Saturday night in July. Reservations are required... Several guests without reservations arrived at the same time we did and were told the wait time was around 45-60 minutes. From our observation majority of patrons were having "pre-theater" dinner, so most of them left the restaurant around 8-8:15 pm. The restaurant is located in... More

We ate here with two other couples just before seeing Motown. I would highly recommend. They immediately asked if we were headed to a show to assure we made it on time. The interior is interesting, low noise level which is important to me. So many places are freezing this time of year and it was very comfortable. Great wine... More

Food homemade, service excellent . One pasta dish stuck together too much. Sausage flavored well. Good wine list. Small plates give better flexibility to share,

I should confess that we were going to a show in Chicago too. Their cocktails were well made with no skimping on alcohol. The RI calamari appetizer was good and the Caprese Salad was different and above average. Their ravioli was exceptional. We tried the shrimp and sausage...exceptional. For desert we had a profiterole which was enough for three. Pouring... More

Hadn't been here for a couple of years. It's gotten better. Nice selection of signature drinks with wine 9-12 per glass (not bad for downtown). Calamari appetizer was ok but didn't have a distinctive flavor. The prosciutto appetizer was excellent. Likewise, we had two pasta dishes. One with a duck confit and the other with a spicy Italian sausage. Both... More

Should a Carbonara Pasta be "out of the menu"? I do not think so. It is a fairly common Italian plate. Good beer, great attention. BUT not very good. The atmosphere is GREAT.

We were there with a fairly large group (about 24 people) in one of their private rooms. The organizer had selected a choice of dishes (2 salads, 4 entrees, 2 deserts) so the meal price could be fixed, and the two selections of each my wife and I had were excellent, and the others looked equally appetizing. The service was... More

I was in town for business and wanted to try someplace local. The concierge recommended Trattoria No. 10 for good Italian food and she wasn't wrong. I ate at the bar and tried three dishes Appetizer: Caprese with Mozzarella di Bufala - the Mozzarella cheese along w/four kinds of tomatoes and basil were very fresh and tasted amazing together Main... This is a great restaurant with home made pasta and traditional recipes. The food presentation was superb. Authentic setting - very nice. Service was great and we were able to take our time. Very nice wine list. Great place for celebrations!
